Because he is an attitude problem, selfish and He won't play in Houston unless he gets with the program. That being said, he has tremendous talent and I would love to see him mature over the offseason and come back as a humble young talented player ready to give his all to make our team a success. The Chances of that happening are very slim though, I believe he has burnt some bridges that are still smouldering. My Tip: Andrew Bogut to Houston, Aussie Aussie Aussie OI OI OI!
All the activity and lack of a trade is not exactly unprofitable to the Rockets. Our FO does so much calling and offering that they're bound to glean information from all those discussions to help us position ourselves going forward.
Same ole stuff like I said at the trade deadline next year. I keep getting tired of saying maybe next year.
Apparently.... Also, if we keep trading, then Morey is treating the players like assets. Don't you just love his job?
It's a weird type of selfishness, though -- he WANTS to pass the ball to his teammates. He WANTS to use his abilities to set other guys up, and shoot just enough to keep the defenses honest. And he's pretty good at all that. The selfishness seems to be that he wants to play the game HIS way, and isn't really all that interested in the coach's way of doing things. Maybe McHale can reach that part of his brain and flip the switch the right way. T-Will could really be an asset if he ever gets his head on straight. I won't be holding my breath, though.
Another PR stunt by Morey. He was probably fast asleep by 10 PM and doing nothing with regards to potential trades.
What corner is that exactly? Last I checked we were still a borderline 8th seed with no top tier superstars.
