Rockets looking to make last minute trade

All we need now is Richard Justice to come out with an article telling us how close they came again, but just couldn't get it done.

I don't even know why some of you guys would give up like 2-3 of our players for a guy like Aldrich who's unproven and most likely be a bust in the NBA. If the Rockets are going to give up some good players and draft picks, I rather get a guy like Bogut, or Nene, not for some below average player who happens to be a center. If you guys are that desperate for a below average center that's unproven, we already have one in Thabeet.

So I am going to go take a while stab in the dark here and say that we didn't make a trade? Any chance we just didn't hear about it yet? Optimism? Can't fault Morey for trying his best, we just don't have the luck or players to make the type of trade the Rockets and people on this forum want.

 

They called the league offices at 10:58 p.m. C.S.T. to get in the trade approval queue, and were put on hold. But then the league yanked their phone lines 2 minutes later, the call was disconnected, and the trade did not go through.

 

Be nice Carl. I'm trying to be a kindler gentler OLD MAN. I like Morey. I'm actually happy with the draft. Just want us to a trade splash someday.

1) When did I say it wasn't a longshot?

2) I never said Morey sucked, it takes two to make a trade. Don't project your feelings on me, man up and express them yourself.

Nothing surprising here, the way Morey thinks, it doesn't cost you anything just to talk, so might as well pick up the phone. Not like there's anything else to do for a while.

 

I think he would probably pull the trigger but the uncertainty of the CBA probably scares some of the trading partners off.
