    This isn't the "real" lockout. The "real" lockout starts when the NBA has missed so much time it needs to shorten its season.

    Of course, it seems that is the direction we're heading, but for now there's still hope.

    I like this deal because with perkins,ibaka,collison,mohammed, and another first rounder most dont remember BJ Mullens, aldrich is going to be seldom used to say the least

    That might actually make some sense for both teams.

    I wonder if Morey (who drafted Greene FOR THE ROCKETS with the#28 pick in 2008) still views him highly enough (after three years of likely subpar coaching in Sacramento) to want him over Chandler Parsons (who the Rockets had rated as a late first rounder in this year's draft.

    Morey's idea of burning up the phone lines is to call everybody five or six times, offering trades they are not likely to bite on. I'd love to hear we got a center tonight, but I know it's not going to happen.

    So, we're going to wait several months, I guess, with no news at all - no summer camp, no trades, no practicing, even. I guess I can focus on the Texans and their new players.
