The NBA and NFL lockouts last past the end of the MLB playoffs and you are left with no major sports to follow? (not including NHL here as there are not many followers on the board, relatively speaking) I've always liked how the "big 3" (NBA, NFL and MLB) schedules overlap so we always have at least 1, if not 2 of the professional leagues in session. Hopefully this won't happen as most have said there should be an NFL season, albeit a tardy one. Regardless, interesting topic to toss around in the mean time.
College football will get me through the rest of the fall after the baseball playoffs. Once we get into January, that is going to be tougher. I'll probably watch every tennis tournament that is on with the first slam being at the end of January in the Australian Open.
**** college football. time to get caught up on all the series i haven't seen: dexter, lost, breaking bad, true blood seasons 1 and 3, etc etc etc.
I will get in the best shape of my life, amass a great amount of wealth, have sex with some really beautiful women, and achieve unbefore seen levels of personal growth, enlightenment, and achievement.
Whenever I try to fill a large chunk of time that is newly void... I end up spending a lot of money. So sad
