1) Those people are contrarians from birth. Their only take on something is to go against whatever someone else thinks. 2) If you can do advanced calculus, then you can remember that a full circular rotation is 2pi. I've memorized most of the radian values. It figures that someone would dumb down simple math for generation y.
I don't even remember what Pi represents. Anyway, 2pi sounds really unoriginal. The least they could do is name it something different.
What's the point. Pi in its most basic geometric form helps solve for area and circumference of a circle. 2Pi is just stupid, if you can't multiply 3.14 by 2 without having to memorize that constant then that should be the least of your problems.
