Who would you like to see start as our small foward or who are you pulling for.

Im thinking Marcus Morris but actually pulling for Terrence Williams.

Either Twill or Morris. Don't wanna see Bud getting lit up every other night.

    Depends.

Bud would make the best spark plug off the bench out of those 3, but I'm not sure if Morris is ready to start in the NBA or if Terrence Williams is able to get it altogether.

Chase will start at the beginning of the season, he just won't be starting as the season progresses.

Hard to say with a different coach, but Landry and Patterson both struggled to find playing time early. I expect Morris to have the same problem. I would love for it to be Williams, only because that would mean he is producing. My guess is Budinger is unless a trade happens.

Year 3 is always the break out year for NBA players, it is CBud's job to lose, the team was pretty good with him starting at the end of last year.

But he will be challenged...that is a good thing.

Chase's defense isn't even that bad compared to Martin. In his second year, I would love to see him take a step forward. He could possibly be a 20 point scorer for us. I love the Morris pick, but you gotta give him some time to earn that position. What would the players think if you hand Morris the position from the gate? Morris will start if Chase is injured or slumping, but he has played significantly better as a starter than a backup. I wouldn't change that until I know for sure Morris is ready.

When Budinger was inserted into the starting line up he had some spectacular numbers... He was an efficient high scoring player. He apparently needs some more work on his defense, but his offensive game was very very good.

TheRealTWill... McHale believes in him, and he's far too versatile to keep off the floor. Strong chance he's a 10/5/3 guy by the end of the season... #wordapp.

It's year 3 for 4 other guys, too.

Hopefully T-Will has a breakout year and plays up to his skill level.

T-Will is more of a SG that is capable of playing the SF position IMO. Which is why I think Houston is open (and have been close) to moving Courtney Lee for right price . (although the same thing could be said about all our players)

The 3 legit SF on the roster IMO are Marcus Morris, Chase Budinger and Chandler Parsons. Both Morris and Parsons have other ways of being effective and contribute to the team if they're shot is off. Appose to Budinger who is heavily reliant on his jump shot to be effective, although he is the best shooter of the the 3.

To answer the OP's question: Marcus Morris, he has the best all around game from our 3 SF's imo.

McHale seems to like Terrence. If he can put it together the job should be his. That is a big IF though.

I've seen Bud and I think he needs to come off the bench. I'm excited to see what Marcus and Terrence can do with some real playing time

His problem is that he lacks the skill to shoot the ball well, hopefully he worked on that....but that one thing will keep him off the court for a lot of coaches, especially if he is not a lock down defender.

Bud would be a good backup on a contending team in the prefect world. As of now he is probably our best option.

However, I'd like to see Morris eventually getting the starting spot. The only way for him to be an impact player is if he makes the transition to the SF position.

Marcus Morris will be the starter by the end of the year. TWill will challenge KMart and be the replacement for CLee when we move CLee in the package for Asik.

Oh, and a backup backcourt of TWill and Goran will be very uptempo athletic and apply a ton of pressure to everyone else's bench. I would expect TWill to handle at the top and Goran to play off the basketball a lot in those situations where they are both in.

Next year is TWill's make or break season. If he comes into his own, he's going to push Kevin Martin out the door. He is way more athletic, and a superior defender and playmaker. The only thing Martin has on him is intelligence on the court efficient scoring. TWill has the capability to be just as efficient with the basketball in his hands. The question is will he?
