I disagree with center because I think hayes should have been included in top 25, there is no way some of those guys had a better year than hayes statistically or impact wise. Yes we can use a taller center who can block shots but chuck has a decent year guarding his guy and rebounding, plus his scoring and assists went up. There are people onthat list that havnt even sniffed a triple double, even if you combine three of their games

Real soon? He's been in the league for a while already. Griffin might already be better than him -- Blake will be the best PF in the NBA next year.

I agree with your calls except for the kevin martin at 3. Manu ginobili es way better than him and ill probably take joe jhonson also. But he is probably number 5.

Griffin has shown no defense besides weakside shotblocking, and it didn't look like he was improving. Flashy dunks are nice, but LMA is now anchoring a great defense.

Ok, conceding that Aldridge is a better shot blocker, Griffin is a better:

    a) Scorer
    b) Rebounder
    c) Passer
    d) Foul drawer

...all in his first year playing in the NBA. Aldridge was a five year veteran this past year. Give me Blake Griffin over LaMarcus Aldridge any day of the week -- and that's not a knock on LA, he's still pretty damn good.

Love is defiantly disrespected and really Griffin is given too much respect.

I am not doubting that Griffin is the future, but no one in their right mind should think he could have come out and done what Randolph did in the playoffs.

Randolph is extremely low. Randolph should be 2 or 3 on the list, Aldridge and Dirk being the only guys that clearly have a claim to being better than Randolph is right now.

I love Lowry, but he's not better than wall. Sam Smith is/has been a moron for quite some time now.

here's a fun stat. Wall has had more triple doubles in his one year in the league than this years league mvp derrick rose... as well he's already had a higher assist game and has proven to be the more effective rebounder and foul drawer of the two... 17 is far too low. Did Smith even watch some of these guys? I feel like he just went to the top 25 stat leaders at each position... Wall should crack the top 10... I'm just saying. This kid is going to be very very good.

LA played with Marcus Camby and Batum, and recently added Gerald Wallace, along with a good defensive coach. He didn't anchor anything.

Blake Griffin as a rookie showed much better scoring and rebounding ability. It's a shame that you only know of him as a flashy dunker; he's a very well-rounded player. The guy gets more double teams than LA easily.

I didn't expect Randolph to do what he did in the playoffs. How can you predict a player's ability in the playoffs when he never performed there?

Griffin gets more double teams in the post than Randolph AND LA combined. Watch some Clips games and see how scared the opposing coach is of him, and the guy still gets his 22 points on 50%fg. And that's him playing without a true PG for most of the year, and on a team full of young'ins and a terrible coach.

Going forward for next year, Griffin has to be on the list as a top 2 PF. The growth and jump you expect him to make should be out of this world

This kid is going to be a better version of Rose/Westbrook, b/c he simply can pass better than them. All he needs is to keep improving his jumpshot and he will challenge Chris Paul for the best PG.

No way any pg with a 41 percent and 29 percent shooting numbers is top ten in the league. That's terrible.

That isn't much worse than Rose/Westbrook.

Beasy has quit the NBA, that is why he is absent from both the SF/PF list.

He's slobbering all over the well known names. Not only is conley higher than Lowry (WTF?), Rudy Gay apparently is a top 5 sf even if his production got replaced completely by old man Battier.

Also what is with all the Griffin slobbering? He's definitely the most exciting player to come over in recent year but that doesn't mean he'll be the top pf in the L in his rookie year. Doesn't defense ring any bell to you guys? Right now he's Dwight Howard without the D and living off pure athleticism. Being a 5 year vet LMA was definitely the superior player last year.

I'm not saying he's not gonna be the best pf in the coming years, but right now Griffin is more style than substance.
