This actually looks good. Saw this a couple of days ago and I really like it. Excellent trailer and I'm looking forward to it. I'm surprise that Brad Bird is the director but not too surprise since he did a great job on The Incredibles. The man have a great visual sense and it really show through like he brought an anime to live action.
I wouldn't care about this movie if Renner was the lead. Not that I'm a fan of Tom Cruise but he does play the action role nicely.
Not too excited about this. For one, how and will they explain the fact that Ethan Hunt kind of retired at the end of III? Thought they wrapped up his character and it would have been nice to see someone else take the reigns. And second, the trailer looked kind of same 'ole same 'ole to me. Disavowed? Happened in the first. Branded a traitor? Saw that in the third. Shots of women dancing, getting out of sports cars, cars doing acrobatic things, explosions hurling Cruise through the air, skyscraper stunts. We've seen that before...give me something new or step up the ante.
This may be Tom's last shot of having a decent movie role. Dude is despised by most... He was good in Vanilla Sky though.
Eh, his rep took a huge hit about 5 years ago and he's not the superstar actor he once was, but I think he'll eventually recover and settle on a plateau one notch below the A-list. Besides, Valkyrie was a pretty decent movie.
Granted the films stand on their own, but still you have Ving Rhames reprising his character for all three. So I don't quite buy that explanation.
I have faith in Brad Bird, teaser looks like it'll be fun spy action, nothing too deep just some fun.

I think that guitar MI2 riff is masterful. The rest of the song sucks donkey balls though. The third one was all over the place. Probably because JJ Arbrams isn't as good as he think he is. This one looks a ton better.
Ya looks good! I also liked the 3rd one...especially the scene on the bridge with the predator drone attack. Very cool scene.
The 2nd was cartoony and sucked bad. 3rd I remember correctly was pretty solid with a hatable and cunning Seymour-Hoffman as the villain.

MI 2 sucked. tom cruise could just finish taking a dump and there would be a shot of him in slow-mo with doves flying in the background.
