    Sometimes you make trades to benefit the person in question when the cost isn't too much to the team, as this sort of action keeps agents happy.

    Andersen gets play time, goes somewhere where typically internationals like and it saves the rockets a little money at the same time.

    I don't think the Rockets made the trade for Andersen's benefit. They wanted to reduce their luxury tax hit and open up a roster spot. Morey usually likes to keep a roster spot open in case of a future two-for-one trade.

    If Andersen likes playing in Toronto, all the better.

    "Forced"? He was not forced. Of course he could have gotten a contract as a backup on numerous NBA teams.

    Yes. David Andersen was a very soft power forward in Europe, that could not play center because he was too soft. Daryl Morey, like a total idiot, thought he could play as a center.

    Andersen is a really skilled offensive power forward, but he cannot play center.

    So in 2015, if the Clips have the 5th to 9th best record in the league we will get the 2nd round pick? That's actually fairly possible. A good stash pick or we can include this pick in another silly deal.

    see i was confused. i thought the fact that he was soft, had no defensive presence, shyed from contact and could only shoot from the outside meant he couldn't play basketball very well at the professional level. I didn't realize you could simply shift him to the power forward and all his glaring weaknesses would vanish

    according to the raptors and the hornets, david anderson cannot play anything.

    toronto loves soft euros, you would've thought that's where he would have carved his niche out.

    I used to defend Andersen. Boy was that a mistake.

    Btw, coaches play players. GM's acquire them.

    Yes the Euroleague is up to par with the NBA :rolleyes:

    They're not even in the same stratosphere.
