Anyone have any suggestions for someone moving to the Texas Medical Center, and looking for a luxury apartment. Willing to rent at around 1k.
Buffalo Speedway and Westparl is a nice part of town. You can take multiple ways to get to the med center from there.
lucury for $1K near med center? Depending on your definition of luxury, you will be hard pressed to find that. look at the places along Old Spanish Trail & Kirby, OST & N. Stadium Dr., Braeswood & GreenBriar. There are several places along there that are a bit older and dencent that are closer to $1k. There are also a few newer places in those areas too, but they are more like $1300
Agreed with the prior poster. You are going to have to look at OST or Reliant Stadium area to keep it at 1k. I was just recenlty looking for a 2/1 or a 1/1 with a study and ended up finding an apartment off 610 and Westpark near Bissonnet, just inside loop for 1240 a monthh, but 50 of that was for a pet deposit. There was an older complex at Newcastle and Westpark for under 1k per month that actually had really nice/large patios BUT only a community washer/dryer. Anyways, 1k per month is ok for a 1/1, but you can't get anything for that.
if you're going to spend 1K in the medical center, you might as well buy something. but if you're dead set on renting, to find anything "luxury" you may have to go to craigslist and find a renovated condo for rent.
I live in Gables Upper Kirby and I actually spend less than a grand. I hope that's not too confusing for you.
hmm...i honestly didn't think one could find anything resembling luxury apartments around upper kirby for $1000 a month. why are you still in houston anyways? shouldn't you have moved to dallas with the rest of your douchebag friends by now?
Does anyone have experience at the Amalfi or the Esplanade? I guess around 1300/month is what im looking for.
Oh man the savings! You really burned R0ckets03!! http://www.gables.com/gablesliving/floorplanlistings.aspx?Region=30&CommunityId=45 LOL 536 SF
wtf...is that what it is? i didnt even know 536 sf apartments existed in houston. i dont think that should count as "luxury".
