It's not the crowd, it's because of th big dome. Sound takes longer to travel. It's much loud in small arenas.

Some thoughts: 1. What's the expiration date on people giving up on "(insert moment) can't compare with the attitude era." The people who say this are right up there with the national "Houston, we have a problem" crowd in my opinion. It's over. It's time to move on, people. Seriously. 2. This show had three very good matches by my count, two so-so matches and some total and utter garbage... Very good: Taker/HHH, Misterio/Rhodes, Punk/Orton So-So: Edge/Del Rio, Cena/Miz total and utter garbage: everything else 3. It's particularly infuriating that Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus was relegated to a pre-show dark match in favor of nonsense like the Snoop Dogg skit, the Pee Wee Herman skit, and either the 8-man Corre vs. thrown together all-stars match or the women's garbage. Ridiculous. 4. Anyone who thinks the Miz can't work is out of their F'n mind. He's miles and miles better than Cena in the ring, miles and miles better than him on the mic, and the whole Real World thing is so far in the distant past that it doesn't even matter anymore. Everyone in the business respects that dude, just look around for commentary. He's no transitional champ. 5. If you didn't understand why certain people were getting boo'd/cheered at the end, you haven't been watching wrestling lately. If you just watched this show? Might not make sense. But Rock all but promised this exact outcome on Raw the last month, and most of the predictions I saw pre-event predicted this exact thing. It was very predictable, and the crowd cheered just the way I though they would: heavy pro-Rock, smattering of pro-Cena with many Cena boos, mixed for the Miz. The Miz is on his way to being so good as a heel, he starts getting cheers. That's what you should expect. 6. They totally disrespected both World Titles last night. The Edge/Del Rio match was only average, and was the opener, and the wrong guy went over, IMO. The main event wasn't main event quality. 7. This is nowhere NEAR the worst Wrestlemania, even of the past ten years. I'd say it falls somewhere in the middle of the top third of events, just due to the three excellently worked matches. It can't touch the best. But the worst years had things like King Mabel, Giant Gonzalez, and Hulk Hogan running out to steal the title for 5 seconds of work. 8. If Rock agrees to come back and work a Rock/Cena match at Summerslam (he said on Piers Morgan he was open to "the right match"), then I'm cool. Someone else can step in and challenge Miz and give him a better match than Cena anyway.
Excellent post, pretty much spot on. I'm not as high on Miz but I do like his potential and agree, keeping that title at WM pretty much took that transitional champ title away from him. He is a good worker and has the mic skills to be excellent "HEEL" for years to come. Love to see a Miz/Morrison title match at Summerslam, Morrison has the wrestling skills and Miz the mic skills to make it one hell of a storyline. They wasted so much talent like Morrison, Ziggler, Sheamus and Bryan among others in favor of the celebrity skit crap. I understand they need to sell WM as mainstream but dam, you just killed some of your brightest stars in favor of it.
Morrison is being so underutilized it's not even funny. That guy has the look, charisma, ring skills, and angle to make it big time in the WWE. It's a shame how much politics has to do with a wrestler's success.
Can't wait! Some friends and I are actually planning a trip to head down there to actually be able to attend WM28
i don't really like the way it is headed and hope it changes. at the end of raw it looks like they are going the respectful good match route and i'd rather see more trashtalk and foul play and i'm pretty sure theres gonna be a tag team match somewhere in between where they have to "like" eachother and get along to beat nexus...if that in itself doesn't become a big story line
I don't like it either, but I would think Vince doesn't want anymore of this Cena Rock feud because their top babyface is now getting way way too much heat. The Cena hate is now at a all time high. I still think they are greedy bastards for not turning Cena heel, all because they want the kids to keep buying his colored shirts.
So 10 more months of grim faced handshaking? I was pretty disappointed when Rock suggested WM to be their match. Like this last WM was just a setup for the punchline.
I'm pretty sure it mostly has to do with The Rock having a jampacked movie shooting schedule for the next 10 months, as was already known (I didn't know until yesterday though). My Summerslam hopes were a pipe dream.
I didn't feel like creating a new thread, but did anyone catch the end of Raw? CM Punk went off. Hell of a shoot right there.
