"Johnny Flynn is going to get a chance at regular minutes down there in Houston, as well"

...is he? I view him as our #3.

The wording is ambiguous. "A chance" could mean the coaching staff decides based off his play in practice or it could mean they actually give him some PT.

Is Marcus 6'7" or 6'9"? In the video it shows his height as 6'7" and on draft day he is listed as 6'9" so which is it?

He's 6'7 without shoes on, 6'9 with shoes on.

Wow, this guy is really getting quite a bit of hype - I hope it's at least somewhat true.

If he's anywhere near as good as his boosters say, then a combination of him and Scola at the forward positions could be pretty awesome.

It'd be awesome to have a team like the 2004 Pistons - a real team and not a couple superstars jacking up all the shots around a bunch of role players.

Of course, I'd take just about anything that would help us get in the playoffs again.

    2 inch heels?

He claims to be 6'8 barefoot in some pre-draft video.

He's probably in the upper limits of 6'7" or something barefoot, so he rounds up to 6'8".

If they do normal rounding, it could be that he's 6-7.4 or something and with shoes 6-8.7 or something.

But being picky about this is pointless. In the end, everyone calls him a "big 3" or a "small 4". So his entire measurements make him bigger than traditional 3s and smaller than traditional 4s. And that's all that matters.

    6'7" barefoot, 6'8.75" with shoes (and a 6'10" wingspan) according to draftexpress(http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Marcus-Morris-5178/).

Either those are some thick shoes or he wasn't fully straight when they took his measurements barefoot.

NBA TV probably thought he was 6'7" with shoes.

His height is around 6'7 3/4 without shoes. I guess he rounded it off to 6'8 to make it sound better on tv.

For most of y'all who don't know, regular Tennis Shoes do add about 2 inches... It's a easy as get out an measure yourselves... Do y'all think NBA players play in sandals... Even then it would be about an extra inch in height....

Link? Are you sure you weren't looking at Markieff's profile? I've seen his height measure exactly that.
