Those teams he played with weren't as stacked as the Bulls. For example Hakeem was like KG wasting away on the Wolves, while MJ was like Kobe playing with Shaq and a 2 deep team.

They would have also been playing against Centers taller than 6'2" who could jump just as high as them and were just as strong as them. Insert Chuck Hayes into that era and he is an average center, hieght wise. It was like Yao Ming being guarded by Carl landry one on one every night. Of course you get 40ppg for the season.

If you look at these old videos, these guys are towering over the opposition. It isn't even fair. I don't mean to disrespect what they accomplished, but i think they are highly overrated as players. Not til Kareem had his hayday do I think big man competition was legit.

Which is why lebron is such a disappointment he has the athleticism, strength, career accolades and stats and has the mental toughness of a 4 year old that still pees on himself.

sigh......what a loser lebron is, it goes to show that the mental aspect of the game is probably the most important.

    Nope.

MJ was the most marketable player ever coupled with insane talent and drive. He's certainly top 3.

It's awesome when someone has an efit, tells someone to 'check their facts' while at the same time not even stating facts in their own post. Epic win right there.

I don't take anything seriously if it comes from a guy who dribbles the ball off his own foot out of bounds (in the playoffs) and then blames his teammates.

Are we talking about on the offensive side of the court only because I don't recall Magic playing much D.

This is taking homerism to a whole new level. Saying that Hakeem is better than Jordan? That's pretty insane...

Quitten is such a weasel. It's like he's living in a vacuum. Scratch that... his BRAIN is a vacuum.

That's why he has love for Lebron. They are alike statistically and verbally.

I'm not saying Russel deserves the GOAT label more than Jordan (because I do not think so), but i'm not sure if using championships for this argument is in the favour of Jordan:grin:

And like others have said, it was not in a six year span.

6 in 8 year span is still damn dominance. Cmon the guy came out of retirement in the 2nd half of the season(96) and was still able to drop 56 on Grant Hill's Piston for only his 3rd game back. Missed playing basketball for a year and a half basically.

Could possibly be 8 championship in 8 yrs had he not retired.

I said "could possibly". No reason to get your feeling hurt. No one knows for sure, and I'm not taking anything away from the 94/95 Rockets.
