Thabeet and JChill aren't elite prospects, hell they may not even be quality prospects but they are prospects. They were drafted high, are large, long, and athletic when looking to trade large contracts of injury prone players... Thats how the cookie crumbles.

I'd offer Scola but they better look right back at me with something to sweeten the deal.

If you read the comments in the article by WARRIORS FANS, one of them actually thinks that Hill is better than Biedrins. Warriors are just trying to lowball our lowball by rejecting that deal.

he played 30 mins because he couldn't stay out of foul troubles iirc. that's part of his game that isn't fixable. he is what he was 23 and will never become a howard lite. stop dreaming.

As long as we are not getting Chuck Hayes to be our starting C ever again, then I'd take on Kwame Brown if we had to.

Chuck is a tough player, but he can't start in this league.

I thought a 1st round pick by itself (middle of the round) was more than we would ever get for Shane. Just the pick was a major steal for moving shane. The guy has no offense, is way past his prime and on the last year of his contract. I guess we could have let him walk and recieve nothing.

Im all for adding Budinger into the deal to close out this deal.

Anyone think this is a good trade for Rockets?

Hill, Thabeet, Budinger for Biedrins + future 2nd rounder.

Totally agreed man. Shane by that stage was all reputation and little substance.

2 stiffs for an injury prone player. But with Rox being quite lucky with injuries the last couple of season. Maybe just maybe this could be another big steal.

Kwame is one of the best pick and roll defenders in the league. He just never and never will live up to being a number one overall pick.

I honestly don't think we need to add Bud. The Warriors are just trying to make it sound like a 2 way negotiation. Give it time. They'll budge.

keep bud, offer twill. williams is perfect for their team with his athleticism and versatility. he might have a chance at an nba career there. i think they would realize that, see his value and accept the trade.

This. I hope Bud will step it up with the competition for his spot we just drafted.

I would love this deal, but with Morey's insistance that Marcus Morris will not be moved to the 3, we would not have a starter at the 3. Instead of the 2nd rounder the Warriors would put in, how about Reggie Williams? He is a solid scorer and I'm pretty sure he is an OK defender.

I am sure that Hill will be a better player than Biedrins by the end of the year. The question is, will he be a better center? I'd take 5-to-2 odds that he will be. If I lived in Houston, I'd make some real bets.

I think from context and tone of voice, Morey was stating that the Rockets won't force Morris to the three. If the three is a fit for Morris, the Rockets would play him there.
