Yea, forgive me. After sending that response I looked at our cap situation a bit closer after catching bima noting "it would kill it".

    I didn't realize.

Regardless, if you don't gun for Biedrins do you pray for Nene? That seems like a pipe dream, much less dwight howard.

Biedrins has three years on his contract though. I'm really not comfortable with him being the second highest payed player on our team.

I say we just give Thabeet a year to prove himself. Best adjustment right now is to give patterson more minutes. The guy can defend and block shots.

Even if we don't get a center I'm a little happier about our roster than last year, because at the very least we have a 7 footer on the team.

I like Hill But We Need to give Thabeet a chance! It's not like we put him out there and said go play! Dont like Biedrins Rather have Brad Miller then Biedrins and I dont like hin nethier! I say just let thabeet and D'Mo play center if we lose games o well deep draft! maybe we get Perry Jones #GoRockets

This deal is a win-win for both teams. GState gets to dump salary by getting 2 expiring contracts and the Rockets get a legit center. Yes, Biedrins has had injury problems, but he's a double-double waiting to happen if he can stay healthy. I know, I know...IF...but a lot of these same complaints and criticisms were levied against Tyson Chandler...now before you jump all over me, I'm not saying they're the same player, but their situations were/are similar and comparable. Biedrins is only 25...He has many good years ahead of him. His salary is fair for what he brings. If you don't want guys like Biedrins or Jordan for this type of money, then don't complain about not having a legit C

I dont mind Beans, but I would see if you can land a better player in FA before making this move.

Give them Aaron Brooks minnie me Johnny Flynn then. Nothng is wrong with a 4 man point guard rotation Warriors. Rockets used to do it all the time.

Sure 10 million a year. Why not? Its not my money. He might be more valuable if he plays for a few minutes and has success again but some more nagging injuries. Then we can sell him for higher if the injuries are only minor and slightly less reoccurring. Come on over to the Rockets Beidrins.

Les is crazy if he's really thinking of Biedrins contract with Scola's Martin and Lowry. If there is a hard cap, we are screwed.

That's why the trade felled through! The reason I love morey so much is the fact we dont make dumb pointless trades that will hurt our team and ppl forgets that (CD made bad draft picks and Trades)

I guess GSW is shopping Ellis and they want to attach Biedrins to the deal. That's why they turned down our offer.

Their situations being similar and comparable is irrelevant if they're not the same player. The board was ecstatic when we thought there was a deal for Tyson Chandler. Biedrins isn't as good, so why should we feel the same way about him?

    Do it...Now.

Get Thabeet out of here. Every time I see him, I'm annoyed that we gave up Shane for garbage.

Until the Rockets find a C who can actually play basketball (i.e. NOT JORDAN HILL OR HASHEEM THABEET), I am really, really tired of seeing anyone other than Chuck at C.

We was going young so we had to give up "who your daddy" I hated it to but it was the right move. I say trade thabeet, Hill, & "Hey Bud" In A Sign And Trade Deal For DeAndre Jorden

What the Rockets actually gave up was "seven weeks of Shane Battier." He wasn't coming back next year.

Getting a future first rounder and a 15-month window to see what Thabeet's got is a pretty decent return on that.

They saved a million bucks or two, as well.
