    You have my condolences. (I had what you'd probably know as a ZX81 -- much much much (much) crappier, as hard as it seems to imagine today.) My first thought was "Oh -- that's one of the songs they play in The Bilestoad when you and your opponent are in separate screens." About 30 seconds later, I remembered it was
    In the Hall of the Mountain King, from Peer Gynt, by Grieg
    (And yes, I listened to it all the way through -- seemed like the person recording got tired of the music when "Eugene's Lair" came up and just Alt+F4'd without remembering to turn off the recording.)

    Echo the guy who said Xenogears. 60 hour game with basically like 8 tracks. And never got bored of it even at the end.

    Rep points for mentioning Super Metroid. Probably the most atmospheric game of all time along with Metroid Prime. Something about those two games really makes you feel completely isolated. Here are some more from those two games:
