Great press conference! It's hard not to like Kevin McHale and damn! DMo and MMo are cocky! My favorite press conference since "Houston I come!"
Why does he HAVE to yell into the mic when he talks? I'm sure the studio sound man has the volume knob on Innes' mic WAY down...he literally yells EVERYTIME he speaks. Has to be one of the most annoying dudes all time. And I cant stand Rich Lord either, but Innes makes Rich Lord bearable....which takes A LOT!
It's a shame that Josh Innes has to take away from the press conference thread, but he is, in reality, a complete doucher, and I keep hoping he'll get canned so that I don't have to buy a radio for work with better reception. I only get 610 and not 790. 1560 neither. ANYthing Rockets-related is good, because there ain't gowanns to be much in the way of basketball for awhile (probably). Not a bad press conference. About what you'd expect.
I like these guys because they are all big and have confidence. I realy think they bring something to this team The only problem i have is I never know if Morey is gonna keep these guys or trade them. Id rather keep these guys and trade our veterans to keep the size on our team. Trade our veterans to compliment the size of these guys.
They bring toughness and size. Keep these young guys and rid the roster of our one dimensional veterans for upgrades to compliment them Morey. Keep Patrick Patterson, Montajunas, Morris, and Parsons. Keep the size and trade our short players and veterans for upgrades.
Man I wasn't going to comment on the 610 guys but I'm listening right now and they are seriously some really idiotic reporters and very annoying, especially his accent of Motiejunas...
Man, I am starting to feel sorry for Flynn. lol. The least the Rockets could do is to give him an used Rockets jersey for the pics. lol.
Morris will bring some toughness to this team that was lacking. IMO, he has got a little bit of Artest in him, from bumping refs to trash talking his opponents. Best of all, he backs up his talk with consistent, hard-nosed play. This guy is a winner. I like it!
Rockets.com just put up the presser from today. Also, Jason Friedman one on one interviews coming soon with all 4 guys. Tons of video from last night on the home page too.
Maybe flynn was the last one to get in, so they didnt have a jersey ready for him. Think about it, if they made him available last night he probably figured there's no point in flying down from Minny incase he got traded again. He probably flew in at the last second, since nothing went down.
