Is this is our future fronline?

Last I remember, a year ago from day draft we said Patterson measured out at Horford's frame. And from watching him last year, he's more than physically ready for 95% of the NBA's C's. And this is just at the ripe age of 21. He's built well, I believe what was it? 6'10 or 6'10.5 with a good wingspan and obviously a thick frame.

Donatas is a legit 6'11, I read 7'0 but just to play devil's advocate, I'll say 6'11. He has apparently and inside-outside game, but more than less is a finesse forward. One agile enough to guard perimeter players as well.

Marcus is a 6-8, 6-9 Forward too. Agile enough to play on the perimeter, and physical enough to play inside in today's NBA. So is this our frontline:

    Patterson
    Donatas
    Marcus

A finesse four, power three, and a versatile five?

From these projections, they are all complimentary, particularly on offense--Marcus's mid-range game, Patterson's mid-range game, Donatas's outside game.

Y'all think so? I was thinking Donatas would strictly be a four...

    It's possible, though.

See that's the thing. I don't think we have restrictions. I think Patterson, Donatas, Marcusorris are all interchangable in this sense. If it's someone that's a better matchup for Marcussorris at the 4, then he's the four that game and Donatas is the three.

If these guys skillset is as good as advertised, and *hopefully* they pan out. They're games are very complimentary. I don't think it's fixed within positions.

None of which I think are superstar players. I think Patterson will be an elite role player, Marcusorris has the chance to be an all-star player, and Donatas is the biggest unknown. If anything, we could have two all-stars to zero all-stars. It's all about DEVELOPMENT. Which is why I think we got in McHale.

Teach these big men how to play, ACTUALLY play them, and we evolve. I feel we'd still need a star two-guard though depending on how good Donatas pans out.

Have two elite role players in Lowry, Patterson is a start for the remaining parts. But if these two forwards we got can emerge into all-star players, then our two guard can be a very good role player. If one turns into an all-star, then we need an all-star caliber two-guard. If none, then **** we need to take that move back to suckiness and get a top pick.

I would be alot more optimistic if it were Marcus's outside game, Patterson's mid-range , and Donatas's inside game

I think Marcus's game can go from the post to the three point line, Patterson's can go from near the bucket to about 17 feet. Donatas? That's the guy I'm still learning. I hear he has a great shot, yet good post moves, so he could be in the same boat as Marcus's range/shot variation.

They can do it all. Marcus shoots well from the perimeter/mid-range, we saw how well Patterson could shoot last season, and Donatas has bunch of post moves (A BUNCH), but he can also shoot the three (shot 40% from there).
