Size is irrelevant if you don't play D and can't board.

    Dirk 2.0

He will be the steal of the draft guaranteed. I'm a big fan of his overall game and in probably 2 years, once he fills out a bit more and learns the NBA, he will be a lethal scorer.

How does the guy go from being a top 5 pick last year, to a late first this year? GM's are r****ded.

Which was previously thought of as a soft, finesse big man who didn't like to bang under the boards. I'm glad he's trying to change some of that by taking the first steps of getting bigger and stronger

Young Russell Crowe is obviously white and tall and from Europe therefore he must only be compared to Dirk.

Exactly how good can this guy get with the right coaching? I've seen very little of him that wasn't just highlight reels or drills so I was wondering if anyone who's seen him play in Europe can shed some light on where he could be based on his current abilities? We have a great place for developing bigs aswell as some bigs with skills to teach (Scola, Chuck) so, given coaching, weight training to bulk up and the right direction, could he be a potential starter at the 5?

    This.

If at best he's a slightly more mobile Bargnani with the will to score with his back to basket and at worst a bigger David Andersen who you can use as a stretch 5 off the bench, I think that's a pretty good gamble for a 20th pick in a supposedly weak draft.

BTW for anyone who's interested ... Motie weight in at 240lb at the Philly workout.

Their not short, their just not super long. He's wingspan is around the same of his height... (7'1 to 7'3 wingspan range).

I think we should start this guy and Hasheem Thabeet and call them the *~*bLaCk_&_wHiTe_PoWeR_tOwErZ*~*

we will probably win a championship because they are both tall

Wasn't Motie considered a top five draft prospect last year, in a more stacked draft? We did pretty good getting him at 20, I agree, but I think he'll be better than Bargnani. We'll see. Wish there was a Summer League.
