Chase wasn't traded, and Terrence Williams will be moved to the 2 spot -- Although we still do have a SF dilemma with Marcus Morris, Chase Budinger and Chandler Parsons

But with this new added depth, It really allows to do some trades like the one offered by the bulls, to meet some positional needs (namely Center).

    Possible Trade Examples:

Courtney Lee, Jonny Flynn or Goran Dragic and Chase Budinger for Omer Asik and 2012 Charlotte pick

Luis Scola and Jordan Hill for Robin Lopez and Michael Petrius(trade filler)

It removes some unwanted depth and gives us some legit centers.

    Lowry | Dragic/Flynn
    Martin | Williams
    Morris | Parsons
    Patterson | Motiejunas
    Lopez | Asik | Thabeet

Come on, even casual NBA fans know Lopez is a joke starter. He doesn't even average 15mins a game.

It seems we've got the parts to hopefully get a deal done with Chicago for Asik. Lee, Thabeet, Hill for Asik, Korver makes a lot of sense to me.

ok if this guy was to be a 3, then I'm all for it. But if he's a 4, he'll get abused.

I hope McHale plays him at the 3.

listening to the interview, it seems that the 6'9:9'7 measurment comes form a lebron/amare basketball camp in which marcus refutes the accuracy of the results. The combine results (Easily most accurate) show that he is 6'8, with a 6'10 wingspan.

Weaknesses: Lacks great bulk and optimum size/strength to bang in the post … Unable to physically overpower top level post players … Surprisingly short arms. At 6-9 and with a 6-7 wingspan, lacks great length for the post position … Doesn’t stand out defensively … Lacks the foot speed to defend small forwards … No shot blocking ability … A year old for his grade … [/rquoter]

Draft Express has his wingspan at 6'10, though. Idk which's real.

NBA combine measurements have him at 6'8.75"(6'9" rounded) with a 6'10" wingspan.

Those shoes are high heels though. Either way, as a SF, 6'8" or 6'9" would make him a big SF. Fans expecting a 6'9"+ SF are just nitpicking. The knock on him isn't his height at SF, but his agility, explosiveness, and athleticism.

That's my impression also. He may be able to play SF for short periods but I don't consider him to be the answer at SF full time because of what you posted. He's a good kid, a hard worker, tough player and all but I would have taken Leonard at 14.

He said at the Lebron camp they screwed up the measurement. They started saying he had trex arms since, but that at the combine they got the measurements right.
