It's very clear that we're in a great position to make a trade now that we've stocked up on PGs and PFs, so packaging Lowry or Dragic with either Patterson or Scola is the most realistic combo to get us that Star player we're looking for... the question is, who do you think it will be? Or will it just be another year of holding onto assets hoping something comes along around the trade deadline?

I think with the injury to David West late this past season might open up the trade gates for Chris Paul if he begins to complain about wanting out. A possible Scola + Lowry for Paul deal?

Also, we were able to free up some money by getting rid of Brad Miller, so we'll be more active in the free agency market where I believe we'll find our center. Marc Gasol, Nene, DeAndre Jordan and Samuel Dalembert are the best Centers available this summer. I'm hoping with the recent signing of Randolph and the large contract Gay is under, we'll be able to offer more money to Gasol than the Grizzlies can afford.

Don't think we'll be trading our best player (AKA Kyle Lowry)

Flynn is getting traded or going to the Vipers...

How are we stacked NOW in PF and PG if we didn't pick any PFs of PGs.

    Morris is a SF
    Parsons is a SF
    Monty is a C

Through trade we have Flynn but we are looking into trading him...

So we are stacked now at those positions as we were stacked yesterday.

I don't think Patterson is going anywhere.

Motiejunas is a PF, I read it on several websites that he'll be playing PF for us, but I'm sure we'll use him with certain match ups as a C.

Scola, Motiejunas, Patterson, Hill, Hayes (sorry, he's a natural PF regardless of where we play him). I'd say we're pretty stacked at PF lol

I'm hoping we don't package Lowry in anything we do, unless its for a super star type player.

Continue being mediocre...Have no 1st rd picks in what is viewed as a strong draft class in 2012...Keep collecting assets with the (unrealistic?) hope of turning them into a star...Sign DeAndre Jordan to an offer sheet that will be matched by the Clips, because the Rockets will most likely not offer what they need to in order to acquire a legit center...A lot of propaganda will continue to come from management...Although Rockets will be mediocre, they will be fun to watch...That's what's going to happen next.

The Rockets possibly will have two picks in that draft. They will have their own pick if they miss the playoffs, and they will have the Knicks pick if it is outside of the top 5.

If we can't trade for a star player, I'd like to see us pull the trigger on a trade for Omer Asik. I don't think we can do better in free agency...

The three players on this team with probably the highest trade values are (in that order) Lowry, Martin, and Scola. All of them need to be traded if we are rebuilding.

Flynn's trade value is very low at this point. I would keep him and start him.

I think our #1 priority should be to get Marc Gasol. Now that Yao Ming and Brad Miller are off the books, we should have more than enough money to offer him close to max money. Many of you may say that Gasol isn't worth max money, well with the new CBA, I'm sure that a max deal will be a lot less than what it is now, so we'll be able to afford it.

Secondly, signing Gasol outright would allow us to keep our core group together without having to make a trade (we'd get to keep Lowry, Martin, Scola, Paterson, Lee, etc)

Third, who would you rank as your top 3 centers in the NBA? After Dwight Howard, I can argue that Gasol is the 2nd best center in the NBA (Noah, Perkins, Bynum, Chandler, Hibbert come close).

Also, during the Grizzlies last playoff run, he showed he's more than capable of stepping up in big moments and shutting down the other team's PF/C and scoring almost at will.

I'm sure Morey is going to be at his door step at 12:01 AM once free agency begins.
