Good Heavens was my favorite. It was Homemade Vanilla, Dutch Chocolate, with sugar cookie dough. I haven't seen it for a couple of years. Homemade Vanilla, Cookies n Cream, and Pralines n Cream are my top 3.

(how did I miss this thread before?)

My favorite? Homemade Vanilla. Why? It is an essential ingredient for two of my favorite guilty pleasures.

    Pleasure #1:

A blender, one fresh, slightly firm banana, one jar of Carnation "Original" powdered Vanilla Malted Milk, quart/half gallon of 1% organic milk, a half gallon of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla.

You put several scoops of Homemade Vanilla into the blender, slice 1/2 or the entire banana into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices into the blender (depends on how much you're making), put at least a couple of tablespoons of Carnation powered malt (the crunchy kind) into blender (this is a matter of taste... I like a lot of malt), maybe a quarter cup of milk (I eyeball it). Turn on blender and adjust blending speed so that the end result isn't just smooth and creamy, but rather still has some small chunks of banana mixed in. You want it thick. Pour into a large glass and add large diameter straw and an iced tea spoon. Serves anywhere from one to three or four groovy cats who know heaven when they taste it. Enjoy.

    Pleasure #2:

One real Coke, Big Red, or Dr. Pepper (root beer is too mundane), a half gallon of Homemade Vanilla, a tall glass, and an iced tea spoon. Add several nice scoops of ice cream to tall glass (depends on size of glass), open your preferred beverage (even if it's root beer), pour into glass, being careful to slurp off the fizz that will be attempting to overflow onto the counter. Serves as many people as your amount of Blue Bell and beverage of choice can handle. Enjoy.

    No thanks necessary.

    Now that's living^^^^^^^^

Donny, I know what you mean, sometimes I just stare in the case and tell myself I don't need it or else I'd be twice my size. Ben & Jerrys rule

My spin on this is with Dutch Chocolate and strawberry soda (My fav is Kroger brand Big K or Welch's Strawberry. Everyone looks at me strange until they try it. They say it tastes like a chocolate dipped strawberry.

Told this story before, but I had some Ben & Jerry's Reeses Peanut Butter Cup ice cream once back in college. I couldn't finish the whole pint, but I liked it so much I put it in the fridge (no freezers in Moody Towers), then woke up at 2-3 am finished the rest of the melted product. Then, that morning in Dr. DeFrank's Intro Management class, I got up out of my front row desk, sprinted up the aisle and projectile barfed into one of the garbage cans at the back of the auditorium. The irony is that, 11 years later, I would still recommend the flavor to anyone who asks; even though I have a genuine phobia of it.

Yes it is. How do they keep the crust parts flaky when adding them into the ice cream?
