    From what I understand, the future 1st rounder was Memphis' heavily protected 1st round pick. The 23rd pick Mirotic likely won't be in the NBA for several seasons. And we dump Miller's crappy salary. I say it's a pretty good deal for the Rockets.

    Yeah, on the surface, I don't really have a huge problem with the deal, but I was uncertain about us ending away the #38 pick as well.

    Also note. How many seven rooters with excellent skill level and dead eye shooters ever fall to the 20th pick? If attitude is the only thing keeping him out of the top five(which it is) then he is worth the gamble if all they have to give up is a heavily protected pick, and two picks that are not really usable this year because of roster space. Plus they address the need for a third string pg which is what they would have taken with one of the other picks. Also bonus is dumping Brad Millers contract.

    Rockets had size but not defensive size. They still don't have it. So many players at the same position another trade in the works might fix this.

    It's not too worried about that. The Rockets tend to buy second rounders.

    there are a couple of teams that need a PG, we have 3

    Flynn might not seem valuable but he was great at Syracuse..ask Pallilo


    And there are second round C's if we bought picks
