No, I don't -- I'd put him on a third tier below the players listed above. But if you told me we could trade up for young Caron Butler, I'd still pull the trigger. FWIW, here's Paul Silas take on the Morris debate: http://aol.sportingnews.com/nba/fee...-is-marcus-morris-best-position#ixzz1PsX1krQA In examining his DraftExpress profile (I didn't watch much Jayhawks games), it sure sounds like he's more PF than SF: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Marcus-Morris-5178/#ixzz1PsXsF4Ty Of course, he could just be a Carmelo type SF as you said. I don't know, I think there are more questions about his ability to be a SF than there are for Derrick Williams. I won't go as far to say he can't do it though. Here's a good question: Why is he better suited for the SF spot than the PF spot? Is it just because he's an undersized PF but good sized SF? Would he struggle with taller defenders (PFs) but be able to still blow by quicker SFs?
why not ??we can choice jeremy tyler,he was the no.1 high school player in2010。how about josh selby,he has a amazing body ,and he was the no.1 high school in 2011.if we have choiced the two player ,we have the two most talented players in this year
We won't know for certain how he handles NBA PF/SFs until we see him on the court. Personally, I think he will be too quick for PFs and too strong for SFs. As for why he is better suited for SF, it is not because of his height. It is because of his skillset. He has the ball handling of a guard, NBA 3pt range, he can create off the dribble/pull up/off screens. And there is just an overall "smoothness" to his game that screams "wing". I can't really prove it any more than that without having you see him play on the court. Problem is there seems to be a real dearth of video of him on the internet. I did find this obscure old tape of both Morris twins though. Seems to be of their freshman year fooling around with some low level Pro-am league. Marcus is #2, while his brother Markieff is #5(who runs around upright like Thabeet). Ignore everything else(like level of competition) and just focus on the way he moves, his ball handling, dribble drive, creating off the dribble. I don't think there is any question that he is a wing player. <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XGX9XxvGdfU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/nC6OvVNBuSI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qqnrR4FBAmo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I guess I just don't see the star potential in him that you do. He just never really showed it in the games of his I saw. His game just feels to much like a PF's especially with how PF's play now (i.e. Kevin Love) instead of a true SF. Even that video, he "created his shot" but only because he was given the ball in the right spot which would likely only happen game wise on cut/slash to the rim, rolling after setting the screen, or post up likely after a pick to freed him. It is not the type of offensive wing game that one sees from a Kobe, Wade, Durant in which he takes his player off the dribble from the top of 3-pt line. Sure, he may become a star, but I just don't appreciate the can't-miss things you find in his game. We'll just likely have to agree to disagree.
I didn't mean to disagree with you. Just pointing out that the list of times I posted was meant to show his defensive ability(non-liability), and nothing to do with his offense. As far as becoming a star, that is up to debate, and only my opinion. However, I don't think there is much more to say about this positional confusion. In the couple of videos I just posted, he was showing advanced ball handling, and bringing the ball up ala your PG throwing lobs to his brother. I'm going to have to call BS on Kevin Love pulling that off.
