So a mid to high lottery pick, Leonard, falls to us. He is a 6''7" SF that is apparantly a great perimeter defender, hard worker, and good dribble penetrator, and we draft another player at the only position we are stacked at. So, that means we are trading Luis Scola, or Marcus Morris is the next Tim Duncan. We are actually thin at the SF position...this pick makes no sense...

    Thanks.

Some people on here just dont get it. Not gonna draft a franchise player at 14 in a 'weak' draft. We got a guy who is a solid player and will be ready right away.

Damn, good luck scoring from the wing on Indy... Leonard and George are both freaks of nature, and absolute menaces on the defensive end of the floor.

Hopefully he'll still be available at the 23rd pick.

What happened to the KLeo talk, I thought we had this guy at #14 and instead we get the strongest Morris brother?

If NYK don't take Marshon Brooks, they should fire their GM.

What? Who? More Redundancy. Classic Rockets pick, a head scratcher. They left a ton of more relevant talent sitting out there.

Yeah. just don't get Morey's addiction to undersized PFs.

Marcus was my second pick after jonas for Houston....for everyone saying he's an undersized 4, well yeah he is, but he's also what our other 4s are not, and that's capable of playing extended minutes at the 3, possibly full time.

Don't we always talk about sliding someone to the 3? Can landry play some 3? Can PP? Can Harris? and so on...well now we have someone like that. He models his game after Melo and he's not kidding. His jumper is very nice, from 3, midrange, 5 feet, everywhere...

There is absolutely no way we are keeping this pick. Remember how highly Morey regarded Patterson, and he did nothing to disappoint. He may take BPA usually, but Morris wasn't the consensus BPA anyways. I just really have a hard time seeing how he could fit in at all. Scola's contract is too good to just trade away so you can fit in an undersized PF you just drafted.

And there is no way he is playing the SF, that is the only way any of this makes just a little sense. But even then, Leonard is obviously the better player. There is just no way to make sense of it unless he is being traded.

And the USC center is gone. The 7-footer from Lith or Jeremy Tyler at 23...has to be. We gotta go overseas project or potential from here out because we don't need any more role players.

Don't worry, we have Chuck Wagon at center. All will be fine :(
