Yes, I am a scab and use loopholes to my benefit which drags the system down with paperwork and effort. I work the system. No, I am a sheeple who pays the suggest retail price, never shops around. Salesmen love me. I do not work the system.
Your options are too extreme. I don't work loopholes which drag the system down.... ... but I try to avoid paying full price by shopping around for better value, utilizing promotions and coupons, and trying to avoid overpaying. ...So, I'm option C.
I'm lazy. Gaming the system takes too much time and I have the money to afford not to spend the effort. I'd imagine some salesmen like me because I know exactly what I want and they get an easy sale, and some probably hate me because if I don't want something, I just tell them flat out and any negotiation/discussion ends immediately. Retailers/restaurants probably like me. I buy stuff a lot, don't complain, and tip very well. In other words, I value convenience most. If a game is $5 cheaper at Best Buy rather than GameStop, but I have to drive 3 extra miles down Richmond, I'll just go to GameStop (though often, there's something else I want that's at Best Buy).
neither. i recently made a lifestyle change. i don't want to own anything. the less stuff i have the less i have to maintain and keep up with. all i need is my laptop and internet. just keep money and travel.
I try not to be a dick when buying stuff. I'm willing to compromise for a better price, I'm not going to attempt to beat a better price out of the salesmen though...
Yes with unreleased digital movies and TV shows, no with everything else. My parents used to lie about our ages at theaters and buffets, and would sneak in to second movies; and my mom would actually go to timeshare presentations, on our vacation, just to get the free lunch/prize: so I've always been averse to any kind of hookups or even haggling.
