    As soon as the club was starting to look good they went out and made one of the dumbest moves by signing Jayson Werth.

    Now their manager has resigned because they wouldn't pick up his option for next year.................and they won last night and have won 11 out of 12 and are back to .500.

    What an idiotic move, they waste money on Werth but can't even just pick up Riggleman's option to satisfy him. Hell, they could just fire him and eat a few million next year. Its nothing compared to what they've already wasted away on Werth.

    They're going to be an exciting team once Strasburg and Harper are 27, you know the year before they leave to the yankees

    They just got to .500, won 11 of 12. And the team can't pick up the coaches option for next year...................idiots.

    Oh and they had a great off-season, Jayson Werth 7 years/126 million..........

    That's even worse than the Carlos Lee signing we did.

    I'm not bashing the team, I wish Strasburg didn't have to go under the knife. I hope they do good, sick of hearing about the Phillies all the time.

    I like the Nationals, that front office is just trying to do everything in their power to kill the team.

    They didn't have to be smart to draft Strasburg/Harper. They just sucked long enough and at the right time. They were going #1 anyway they couldn't even screw up when it came time to draft.

    Jim Riggleman is a bad manager and the Washington franchise just got better by default.
