What about Scola and Martin for Beasley and #2 (Kanter)?

You just read that they offered 10 trades and you're complaining? You do realize there are always at least 2 teams in a deal and that they both have to agree to a deal right?

Well if he could get off with just giving up Lee and #23 for #10 then this should be our next move. I wouldn't be opposed to giving up Martin, Scola and #14 for Beasley and #2.

I'm hesitant to get too excited about all this trade talk due to the past years drafts. However, all this talk is starting to really get me pumped for the draft. Hopefully something gets done and us fans won't have to get upset by deals we heard about but weren't able to get done...again.

If our GM somehow gets the 2nd pick and we draft Kanter over Williams I would be disappointed. Irving and Williams are the two players with the best odds of becoming superstars in the NBA. They're a tier above everyone else in this draft. Picking Kanter over Williams wouldn't be picking BPA but going more on position of need. Kanter is great but still very much an unknown. He won't be a defensive force in the league. We need a defensive center like Chandler and a star player. Between Kanter and Williams, D-Will is the more talented player and has the higher chance of being that star player.

I agree with you. I think Williams is going to be a stud in this league for years to come. If we do move up to the 2, I say take Williams, but if we move up to get the 4 from the Cavs, then take Enes Kanter. I still don't think we'll be able to move into the top five, but I would rather see Williams in a Rockets jersey than Kanter. With that being said, I would still be satisfied if we somehow ended up with Kanter.

According to all the experts I spoke to in the GARM, Kevin Martin was worth the #2 pick AND more...

    Guess reality is setting in.

I'll believe it when I see it, I've heard this before. I sure as hell hope it happens though.

It might feel like Portland picking another Kentucky kid Sam Bowie over MJ, or Darko over Melo

    D. Will reminds me Paul Pierce- great shooter, okay quickness but very sneaky. I sure as heck wouldn't mind that.

Nothing good will happen. Morey is garbage and nobody wants to play for the Rockets.

There's a lot of dumb posts in this board, but this has to rank in as one of the all time high.
