Everyone should realize what a great time you are buying a car in. Very soon (2015-2020) MPG standards will rise to make the majority of our "muscle cars" get 38-43mpg.

this means V8's will have to be very limited in numbers and therefore probably only used in the GT500 type cars. the normal SS and GT cars will probably get Turbo V6's.

Dumb car not smart car. Seriously i'd almost hit one backing out of a parking lot the other day only because i didn't see it coming with it's 3ft height piece a s*** of a car.

For 25k you can get either a 1992 acura nsx or a 1994 toyota supra.

i love me NSX's but the affordable ones are just too old. I don't see myself spending that much for an early 90's car to be an every day driver.

They might be old but for one thing about these exotic cars you can bet is that it's probably kept in good condition. The 92 one that i'd look up had only 89k miles for $26k one owner. It's a classic sports cars only us avg joe would dream of driving one day that is some what affordable.

Even a 1990 lambo diablo is still out of the price range at around 90k:(

LULZ, trust me. You may know more about grass than me but when it come's to the Z you are in definite beat down mode.

The Z was made for the track, 2 seater. I've built my TT on the original motor to 554 HP TO THE WHEELS. I can smoke a Z06 Vette on the strip and have done so three times now. Come to Baytown on Friday or Saturday nights and watch me run. :)

To those looking at the Mustang V6 with 300 HP, that's to the crank, which probably means 220HP to the wheels on Mustang Dyno. It's heavy, ugly, and every friggin' high school kid has one. The new V8's are monsters, but still ugly and not worth the price.

To the OP, how old are you anyways? If you're young you willmost likely not qualify for a loan on an older, faster car like a C5. Get something reliable, as in that price range for new you're not going to find a true "sports car" worth the money.

Mini Coopers - cost about $20,000-$25,000 and the repairs will run you another $15,000 during their lifetime...lol. :)

What about keep your current automobile, then get a motorcycle for your day-to-day sporting needs?

I said "IF YOU WANT TO GET THAT SERIOUS ABOUT THE DEINITION then no way is a 350Z a sports car or a Mustang and Camaro." If you notice your TT is a front wheel drive or all wheel drive which also falls out of the traditional view of sports car.
What is your point exactly? You are financially able to buy a turbo? Congrats I guess.

Lol, are you HP jealous hating?

Dude, just stop. The Z is RWD. You look dumb after one sentence. You do know TT means "twin turbo", right? lmao

BTW- I've also owned a Mustang GT "5.0" in HS in the 90's and a Saleen in the late 90's. I'm a car dude, and the 'Stangs they're putting out now are awesome, but just not my taste. I got hooked on JDM, cars that last.

Also I don't really get the point of this argument. I made an If-then statement. It was made to point out that if his assessment was true, then this would have to be true, which was supposed to be out of line. Do you understand the concept? this is the dumbest discussion in history.

TT stands for TWIN TURBO. A Z is rear wheel drive. It's a two seater made for the track as the link above says, and the link above describes a "true" sports car. Yes, dumbest argument in the history because you look like an idiot talking about cars you know nothing about. I'm embarrassed for you.

Uhhh, Audi TT is a front wheel drive or all wheel drive car. Sorry I don't know your ricer internet lingo. You got all butt hurt because you didn't understand a statement of mine where I said a guys definition of sports car was invalid because it would make most cars thought of as sports cars, not sports cars. (ie a 350z)
