There is a reason why you have 5300 posts and are still a rookie.

I know you heard this on Bill Simmons' podcast.

Either way, Minny is asking for a impact player. Will they get it? I don't think so. I think if this was the 2012 draft, I say it would be a lot easier for them to land an impact player. Too bad Minny doesn't own their 2012 draft pick.

i'd rather stay at #14 and #23 and go after a free agent that's proven something...

Why is Minny going to give up #2 for a package that includes Scola when they already have Love?

Hasn't it been said everyone on our roster is tradeable, and Courtney lee hasn't met expectation? Oh and Thabeet trade? Shane was gone in offseason, we got nothing for something (paperweight).

Timberwolves need a SG. You know who they want. Team are offering up Tony Parker and Steve Nash in trades. So you know we have to offer up Kevin martin if we want the 2nd pick the draft. There is no way around it if we want the 2nd pick.

Everyone is allowed to express their opinion, albeit how unpopular it may be.

well thats probably where the 10 different scenarios come in. It's 10 different scenarios that couldn't beat out another team's offer. I don't see any reason to have so many at #2, only 1 player will have been picked at that point.

I am a big fan of Morey, but it can be damned frustrating to be one.

He never overpays, even if we have a bunch of PFs and no C. Now, this will work very well in the long run, but it's annoying as ****. Having to read the Morey-bashers only adds to it.

Is this going to be the year when he goes out on a limb? That probably depends on how he rates the potential draftees. If he thinks he can get the next Jordan with that number two pick, then he will.

One more thing for the Morey-bashers: if he does pay the price to move up, whether to #2 or #10, he's the guy that put us in position to do that. Will you then, finally, give him some credit?

    Tony Parker
    Steve Nash

These are the other guys available for trades. We are not gonna trade Kevin martin? The team who needs to rebuild? Need to rethink that strategy if you wont.

I agree. If the Spurs are looking to rebuild, and we aren't? That would be totally ridiculous and thats what is keeping us at the 14th slot year after year.

Parker can be had if you take Jefferson's contract along with.

Also, Nash was requested by Minnesota. Phoenix didn't offer him.

Actually probably takes Kevin Martin +23rd pick to draft Derrick Williams.

I don't believe any rumor involving Minnesota, Kahn is probably leaking b.s. to drive up the price.

Timberwolves won 17 games last year. They pretty much need everything.

I don't see a deal with Minny. Kahn is so insecure that unless he clearly thinks he "wins" a trade, he won't make it. And Morey isn't about to overpay. He never did before.

Yeah i agree with you. I have a good feeling about Morey this time and what he is capable of if he really wants a guy. Wont get my hopes up knowing Moreys habits. Just that his way is not working. I dont care what anyone says. Its not working his not paying to get what Houston needs. Until it does.
