Like a picture of a penis, I suppose. I can't believe you wrote that right after Carl Herrara's post. haha
Anybody see this? http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/214256/Bucks_Rockets_Talking_Swap_Involving_Ilyasova_Picks
It only takes one team to screw up. And David Kahn and Michael Jordan by themselves have 4 of those picks. So the chances are pretty good someone is Morey's top 22 would be there at 23.
Remember Morey is crafty, he does not like other GM's or the press to really know what he is thinking. The tweets could be a smoke screen. He is the only GM so far that I have heard claiming that this is a deep draft when most analyst claim that this is one of the weakest draft in years.
I think the media or other GMs mean weak draft as in not a lot of potential star power or franchise players in this draft. Compared to last years draft most of the top 14 this year would probably be mid to late first rounders then.
Maybe he's trying to get someone to give their one higher first round pick for his 2 late-first round draft picks by telling them there's a lot of depth in this draft.
I've never seen a GM that likes the spotlight more, and can't take the heat when the spotlight of critics are on him. We will probably draft another short guard that can't play defense against the big ones. Or an undersized forward.
If the Rockets fail to move up (again), DM can point to this comment to show how happy they are to grab two of the top players in the draft w/14 and 23.
I am sure we would draft three great prospects @ 14,23 and 38. But it is about time for Morey to deliver a signature (not franchise necessarily) player. Every draft is the same, a ton of chatter (which is a negative for our current rosters mindset) and then nothing happens.
