Have you called US Airways yet to complain about their policy?

No, you didn't. Because I did not make any assumption. I say that I think people of any color should comply if asked to pull up their pants in a public setting like that of an airplane, if that is the airline's policy. And if people of any color do not comply, it is the airline's right to remove them.

YOU made the assumption that this would have anything to do with the color of the offender.

And FFS, it is spelled "believe".

Apparently the airline doesn't have a dress code policy, according to their own spokesman. Click on the spoiler if you want to see the crossdresser they allowed on the week before this incident. Sounds like they're about to pony up some money to the football player.

OK, the same person who said that the dress code forbid the football player's attire is the same one who said they don't have a dress code. Then they state that the pilot has the right to make up his own rules basically for safety. Huh???:confused:

This is why its stupid for the airline to willy nillinglee enforce rules, now they have a big uncessary lawsuit on their hands. guess dude made the right decision.

Wow, that puts a different complexion on it now doesn't it? Not which one should have STFU -- the football player or the flight attendant? The pilot doesn't matter -- the customer was already discrimated against before the pilot was even informed.

Agree. If they don't have a set code, then they shouldn't pick and choose who gets to wear what.

That's why they need a code, even if the code is that they don't have a code. By having that it will be at least communicated to their employees so people don't start enforcing things based on their own personal biases.

I guess my point is to not just have *nothing* in term of policy. But to have a policy that explicitly says they don't care what people wear as long as private parts are not exposed.
To not have a policy at all, people might take it upon themselves to come up with their own.

Not really. Being hypocritical, as far as I know, is not against the law. He was arrested for not complying with the airline crew when asked to leave his seat. Honestly, the reason he was asked to leave his seat is somewhat immaterial. When you're on an airplane, they can basically call the shots. Unless he can specifically prove he was discriminated against based on race (and, honestly, one picture of a white guy on a different flight, with a different flight crew, doesn't seem to prove that to me), I don't think they have a winnable case.

He didn't get belligerent or anything. Disappointing for worldstarhiphop but great for him and his lawsuit.
