    Interesting bits. Thanks for posting.

    1. Ilyasova looks like the kind of guy Morey would like. Also, he kind of looks like James Franco or the Ice Truck Killer on Dexter to me.

    2. I would pay good money for footage of the Bucks draft room when Stern said the name "Patrick Patterson" last June. I guess they might not agree with Old Man Rock about the Sanders/Patterson deal. :)

    3. I am thinking the Rockets might be trying to use the 10th to move up for SAC's 7th-- SAC is said to be interested in Jimmer... 7th is too high for him, 14th probably too low and Utah at 12th and PHX at 13 both might snatch him, 10th sounds about right.

That would be a short discussion:

Rockets: How about Thabeet, Scola 14, 23 for Bogut and 10???

    Bucks: No.

Do not want Ilyasova. Get Sanders instead.

That makes a lot of sense. 7 would allow us to leapfrog Charlotte who may intend to take the same guy we are after.

If we get to 7 though, it's gonna be very tempting to take Biyombo, Valanciunas, or possibly Kanter if he slips.

Like I posted somewhere else, its going to be hilarious watching the BBS reaction when we pass on at least one of those centers for "another undersized PF". ;)

I don't think it is that tempting if you can get a top 3 player in the draft like I think you can.

I think your on to something. If Morey can move up to 7th, my guess is that he will have the Kings draft Jonas Valanciunas. We will probably have to trade CBud to Milwaukee and Ilyasova or JHill to Sacramento in order to complete the deal. However I think it would definitely be worth it if Morey could pull it off.

That is interesting and unexpected. You'd think with the new CBA cap looming, teams would be trying to convert late 1sts into early 2nds. In some ways I'm more excited for the 38 than the 23. I'd love to use it on a guy like Selby or Cory Broseph and just stash them in the D-League.

Doubt it. Trading up to 10 is said to be contingent on Valanciunas not falling to there. Milwaukee isn't going to hand us the 10 just so we could use it to move up and take him for ourselves. They would just trade with Sac themselves instead. We have a different target in mind.

Cleveland is actively pursuing multiple picks deeper in the first round, as are Portl

Well then how about if this is the scenario:
    1) Houston swaps the 14 & 23 with either Milwaukee for 10 or Detroit for 8.
    2) Houston gives the 8 or 10 (whichever they get) to Chicago for Omer Asik (the Bulls defensive minded back up center). We all know we need someone to help plug up the middle defensively and Enis Canter and Jonas Val***** aren't that.
    3) The Bulls at 8 or 10 then can draft the best 2 guard in the draft either Alec Burke (slasher) or Klay Thompson (shooter).
    4) The Rockets then also get either (or both) of Chicago's picks at the end of the first round pick #28 and/or pick #30 with which the Rockets can either take a flier on another center in this draft like Jeremy Tyler, Jordan Williams, Kieth Benson or Greg Smith or they could draft a back up wing player as insurance against K-Mart or Chase getting injured (as seems to happen all to often).

Not a bad move nor an unlikely scenario in my book given Morey's ability to spot hidden talent in the draft and his earlier comments that this is not as bad of a draft as others think and that this draft in fact has some depth to it.

I'm not even sure what pick the bucks have in the first round.

Yeah, I can't find this anywhere. If it's not on Twitter then it's not even a fake rumor.

Someone has "interest" in Budinger and Hill? What a godsend! Do whatever it takes to milk anything out of them.

Rockets interest in late first round picks is probably contingent upon being able to package #14 and #23 to move up In the draft. If they can't, they won't want more guaranteed contracts with limited roster spots and no clue what the new salary cap will look like.
