As always, no PBP in the thread. If you need that try one of the game cast sites. Keep discussion to this series. If it is not about this series it goes somewhere else.

    6-20 J.A. Happ, LHP (3-8, 4.95) vs. Derek Holland, LHP (5-2, 4.78) 7:05 on FSH

    6-21 Jordan Lyles, RHP (0-2, 4.30) vs. C.J. Wilson, LHP (7-3, 3.03) 7:05 on FSH

6-22 Brett Myers, RHP (3-6, 4.75) vs. Colby Lewis, RHP (6-7, 4.80) 7:05 on FSH

    this is an easy call.

astros will finish the season series with the rangers with a 1 - 5 record.

    That's awfully optimistic.

I have zero hope for tonight's game. Horrible matchup for Happ but this is baseball so he'll probably throw 7 shutout innings.

Rangers aren't playing well. Lost 7 of their last 10 games...maybe we steal a couple. M's are only 1/2 game back of them now.

    Brian Mctaggert-
Astros lineup for Friday: Bourgeois RF, Bourn CF, Keppinger 2B, Lee DH, Michaels LF, Johnson 3B, Wallace 1B, Barmes SS, Corporan C, Happ P

Love General Mills but sometimes he drives me insane. How do u bat a guy with an avg in the .240s with an OBP of less the .300 in front of a guy who is top 15 in the league in hitting and getting on base?

With the same justification the gets Jason Michaels on the field? I don't know what that is...but it keeps happening.

    I'm with you.

It's almost like he's over-OVER protective of Wallace for some reason. Sitting him against lefties...keeping him at 5 or 6 in the order...while I get it, I don't like it. Throw the kid out there every day, put him at 3 or 4 (especially with Pence out), and let's see how he handles it.

I don't know what more he has to prove at this point. He puts together good AB's, works the pitcher, and gets on base. Sure the pop hasn't really surfaced yet, but with automatic outs in Lee and Johnson, he rarely gets to hit with men on base. With Tag's lineup listed above, I'd move him to 4th.

Way to keep us in the game, Happ!

I think we all knew this ass whooping was coming. It could be 20-something to 1 before it is all over. Bend over, Astros.

Happ is the kind of guy that needs a defense behind him. He is very much like Wandy, early on, he let's innings get out of control so errors will kill him.

After 2, a 70 pc? This maybe his worst outing yet.

And Texas hasnt even been playing well lately.

Nothing like a visit from the Stros to get things in order :(
