He's not injury prone. The dude bent his arm in the wrong direction and then fell on top of it...going for a monster dunk. His arm should be almost healed this season, getting him would be fantastic but I doubt we have enough, short of gutting the roster, to pry him away from Milwuakee.

We might as well go for Asik then. The Bulls know that they won't be able to offer Asik the money he will want and get offered when his contract expires after the 2011-12 season. Give them Lee, 23, and 38 for asik. Asik will be Bogut 2, but cheaper.

    You're right.

And actually, for a big man, that type of injury is less career threatening compared to leg injuries..

He was missing a bunch of games in almost every season as a professional throughout his career. Of course he is injury prone. But when he's healthy, he is one of the best defensive minded centers in the game and I could say that after Howard all around progress, Bogut is the best defensive center in the game

If the Rockets can somehow get Andrew Bogut, you freakin' make it happen.

Bogut is a top-3 defensive center in the NBA. He's also a skilled post player and passer. If he ever had any guards on his team during his career thus far who would actually pass him the ball, his offensive statistics would be much more impressive.

I, personally, would be willing to trade any player on the Rockets' roster for Bogut. Hell, I'd trade any TWO players on this roster for him. That's what having depth is for, anyway.

Also, I agree with those you think Milwaukee would be getting screwed on the rumored deal. There is not a single player in this draft who I think will become better than Bogut is right now, let alone how good Bogut could eventually become when he hits his (healthy) prime.

    Get 'er done, Morey!

I would love to see Bogut in a Rockets uniform but thats too much to give up for him. Injuries are always a concern with Bogut.

He missed 20 games in his first 3 years then missed a bunch of games in his 4 th. He hadn't missed a game until he tore off his arm in his 5th and struggled with it last year but only missed 17 games.

I disagree... Bogut is a beast. With him and Hayes in the paint we would have some amazing interior D.

How does Minny not make this deal?

    Rubio/flynn
    Beasley/Johnson
    Love/Randolph
    Bogut/darko

They need a SG more than anything, and one will not go top2, so why not upgrade at center, which wouldnt hurt, and then drop down to pick up a SG?

So Milwaukee gives up their franchise player and the #10 pick to draft a tweener in D Williams?

This isn't happening. Bogut alone is worth more than the 2nd pick. Minny seems smitten with darko, ho do they feel about getting kmart instead?

    kmart+hill+2012 ny to minny
    #2+14 to milwaukee
    we get bogut

If this rumor is true then the Bucks must feel that D. Williams is an all-star caliber player. Bogut and the #10 pick seems like a lot to give up, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We always hear these types of rumors in the week of the draft.

How can David Kahn "David Kahn" the Bucks like that? Bogut is underrated IMO, and I would piss my pants in shame if the Wolves got him AND #10 for the #2 pick (Kanter or Williams) plus filler.

Dang - I like Bogut. He's limited, but he's a hard worker, good defender, good team guy, and gritty in the low blocks. Blue collar guy.

A Bogut-Love combo would be slow, but they'd be tough to beat and really tough to get offensive boards against. And they'd be really effective doubling guys like Dwight Howard.

Milwaukee has to be doing this for financial reasons. Even if they take Kanter and he pans out, it's a solid step back for them.

Bogut is a borderline impact player IMO, but his injuries are worrisome. I would actually respect the T-Wolves if they made that deal.
