Nobody with the 14th and 23rd pick. At this point your goal should be ataining the star. Your goal is the number two pick. If you can attain it through trading your draft picks this year and next? You do it without hesitation at this point. The partner is there and probably willing. The potential star is there. The opportunity is there. You have no other stars who want to come here via trade. AKA Paul and Dwight Howard. You roll the dice or you stop talking about aquiring Superstars at some point if you are not really willing to take the risks to get one. Its just talk after so long. Nothing else.

If Morey was a competent GM (which every day it looks more and more obvious that he is not), he would trade up to get Vesely.

So after all this time bashing everyone else, you finally reveal who you're gonna put your name behind.

Are you ready? Because if Vesely sucks or is significantly worse than the other European players projected to go lower than him you might hear from us again.

And of course you can brag about it if he turns into "The Next Dirk Nowitzki".

There are two goals in this draft. To get the great 7ft center to replace Yao on defense and start on our team for years to come. The other to get a star. Two clearly defined goals.

Armed with two draft picks this year and next years drafts picks. Our young players and veterans. You do not accomplish one of those goals? You are not doing your job as the GM good.

If OHMSS was a competent poster (which every day it looks more and more obvious that he is not), he would stop spamming the BBS about Vesely.

That was the goals not just for this year but the last few years in a row. I will not excuse Morey for continual failure to get his center or star player year after year.

Calm down man. lol I see your points, and they are well taken, but even if you like Thursday's result, it won't matter. Even if we trade up to 2 and get Williams(for example), it means nothing til 2013 at the earliest.

How dare him fail to get a great 7 ft center and a superstar with mid to late first round picks and 2nd round picks year after year! Inconceivable!

You keep saying that year after year and it just sounds like corny excuses after year 4 and 5 of doing that.

    4 and 5? More like year 1 and 2...

Telling me with a straight face that he was dying for a center in the 07, 08, and 09 drafts?

Look man, I know, you don't want excuses, but come on.

Which superstar and great 7 footer should have have drafted or traded for over the last 4 or 5 years?

Which ones could you have acquired were you (or someone who is smart) in his place?

I have said to trade up and draft Vesely here from the very beginning. I stopped bringing it up, because every time I said it, numerous people would troll and clown on me extremely hard for saying it.
