But wouldn't it be better at a lounge/bar if this is the reason you are going? Some place where you can actually hear the convo and talk to the people you meet?

Clubs are like the summer action movie, the Michael Bay flick where its ALL visuals and sounds and rapid pacing. If you looking for an intelligent script and stimulating dialogue, try somewhere else.

Clubbing is basically suspending your intelligent sense of well being and going all in on the low level impulses. If you're looking for something interesting besides someone's appearance, the way of dancing or the beat of the music, (dance) clubs don't work.

Plus you have to be PHYSICALLY involved. Dance clubs are like going to the weekend aerobics class, except with drinks.

Thats what its all about, women wanting to do something on THEIR terms. Putting themselves out there as the most premium product of the meat market, then liking having control of the filtering process. Limiting the effectiveness of the penis.

The shaming process goes both ways. If they're going to call guys slobs, they can get called tramps and bi-curious weirdos.

Whats the point of clubs, if no one hits on each other?

I go to the club for dancing. I am not trying to bring anyone home.

The music be so loud at clubs I can't hear myself speak. Not the ideal place to meet new people. At least for me.

Wow, Way Back Machine there. I had no idea Rat Ranch was still around. I remember following them up and down Richmond in the 90's. Are they in their 50's now?
