I have an idea for a product, a dog toy, I've already made a prototype, and I haven't seen anything like it on the market. I would like to explore the idea of making/selling it, but I have no idea where to begin. Anyone have experiences they could share or know of any good resources (besides the obvious patent attorney)?
www.patentstuff.com is Ken Roddy he is a patent agent he runs this group: http://www.inventors.org/ Houston Inventor's Organization They seem to help alot. I would start with them. They are very nice and love to help. Rocket River
Quirky.com is another route for independent inventors. Not sure how the finances work, but it's an opportunity to refine the product, get them to manufacture it and put it on the market, etc.
I invented an electric hammer, a shotgun make-up kit, couch chair toilet, and a chair with two extra hinges on the back legs.
