Being happy Miami lost isn't the same as being happy Dallas won, Dallas winning is just a necessary casualty in the war against LeQuit...

Mavericks aren't close to as hateable as the Heat nor do they have the worst fans like the Lakers. I don't even think we have a real rivalry with them since 2005.

I'll channel my hatred of Dallas towards the glut of Cowboys fans that are in Houston.

This. I loved watching how that specific group of players and their coach came together and got the job done.

But I have no particular feeling for their owner and the brand they play under.

Short term I'm glad Miami didn't win.. long term I will wish Dallas didn't have an NBA championship.. although I have mixed emotions about that because I like Dirk.

I'm a rocket fan, I have nothing with the city of Houston. I'm happy for Dallas, ever since the Nowitzki, Nash and Finley dallas teams I liked them (except for 2 years, guess which years).

I can understand that there is a rivalry between cities, but for us out of town Rockets fans I see no problem rooting for Dallas (now If you would have said Lakers, that is a different story, no basketbal fan should ever root for the lakers)

As a Rockets fan, I'm pissed they won. I hate the Heat and LeBron and Bosh for saying no to Morey and all of that, but now Dallas will get all the pub, all the calls and yes, I hate them more now than ever.

(side note: i'm happy for Jason Kidd, he deserves this, but I hope he retires a Rocket ;) screw the mavs )

I gotta admit, wish our owner was as enthusiastic and charismatic like Cuban.

It's OK to be happy that the Miami Heat did not win the Finals.

Mavfans have started becoming arrogant and annoying as hell now. Can't really blame them since they just won the championship, but I really do miss making fun of them.

I was happy Miami didn't win.

I would have loved it if neither team could have won....
