What were they thinking when they came up with this movie idea? A love story about some dude who loses his job at Walmart and has to go to community college? The target market of this movie is obviously women so what makes these movie execs think that this type of character would be appealing to them as a leading man? I see a huge flop in the works.
http://boxofficemojo.com/people/chart/?id=tomhanks.htm Tom Hank really doesn't do flops. The terminal grossed $78MM. It'll at worst make it's money back imo. BTW, not the biggest fan of Tom Hanks, but the dude is a bankable leading man.
I'm a huge Tom Hanks fan, but the premise of this love story will not bring the ladies out. Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Road to Perdition, and Big were all epic movies.
Even without the love interest in The Terminal, it was a very entertaining movie. He did a good job in the movie.
OMG OMG OMG OMG! I loved Joe Versus The Volcano! You did too??!!?!? Let's watch Punch Line together, please?
