Boxers are a form of clothing. Not indecent exposure imo. Now if he sagged his boxers...

So. They can make the rules. They can decide what is inappropriate. They didn't simply kick him off. They asked him to pull up his pants.

If he was told to get off the plane without being given the opportunity to pull up his pants, then I'd say the airline was wrong. They gave him the opportunity to comply with their rules - and it was a simple request. He didn't have to change clothes, all he had to do was pull up his pants.

    Seriously? They are?

So why didn't he just wear boxers or why didn't he just wear jeans without boxers? Not so tough there with that zipper, are ya?

While I think this is completely stupid to get kicked off a plane/then arrested for...rules are the rules and he broke them and has to now pay the punishment.

You are correct, that is a bad analogy, however if my T-Shirt said F*** Obama, they would be correct in saying that was inappropriate.

This is on their web site with respect to refusing to transport passengers:

"Are over the age of five (5) and barefoot, or otherwise inappropriately clothed, unless required for medical reasons;"

Not quite sure what point he was trying to prove, but why wouldn't he simply pull up his pants when asked?

When is an appropriate time to show your drawers in public? They had a policy and the right to remove him from the plane. All he had to do was pull up his pants until he got off the plane in Albuquerque. He refused and was removed. He's the dumbass...not the airline.

tough to say what's stupider. sagging your pants. ultimately arresting someone for sagging their pants. or getting arrested because you wouldn't stop sagging your pants.

I can understand that PRIOR to him being asked to pull up his pants. At that point, regardless of what he felt, he should have simply pulled up his pants. They didn't ask him to change. They didn't ask him to leave the plane. They didn't ask him to go out and buy a new pair of pants that fit. They simply asked him to pull up his pants.

I was going through security one time and I was wearing a short sleeved shirt over a T-shirt. They asked me to take off the short sleeved shirt. I thought it was a pretty silly request, but I did it. No big deal.

There are times in our lives where we have to follow rules which may seem silly to some. He could have chosen a different way to travel so that he could wear what he wanted how he wanted, but he chose to fly US Airways. They have a policy where they are judge and jury for what is appropriate attire. He violated their policy in their opinion. He was asked to perform a simple task. He refused.

Why would someone feel the need to defend sagging?

    If that's your reason, fine.

If it isn't, give me another one.
