    Yes the defenses are as good on those teams but this isn't so much talking about the skills of those teams as personal feelings. The Mavs are our rivals but the Heat are whiny douchebags who declared they had a dynasty before their first practice. Obviously both the Mavs and Heat have basketball skills or else they wouldn't have made it to the finals but that doesn't mean we are obliged to like or respect them.

    Yes. It kills me to admit this, but I was rooting for them the whole way.

    I'm sorry, I'm a horrible Rockets fan, I know...but I am unable to root against Kidd in a playoff series...never have in my life.

    But purely objectively, yes. They beat last year's champs, and they still would have been the underdogs against CHI.

    Yeah I felt conflicted that way too once Kidd was on the Mavs and they went to the playoffs.

    It looks like its pretty even regarding if the Mavs had played someone else besides the Heat.
