Your woman asked me to bring some next time. See how ridiculously easy this can get? Why don't you try a more mature approach?
If the woman had not found the camera and returned it, would giddyup be complaining about his lost $1000 camera?
Round here, we wipe our arses with thousand dollar bills after breakfast. Poors like you should take the hint, and take their tantrums elsewhere.
If giddyup had the normal amount of testosterone in his system would this thread be 20 pages of him whining and last wording?
You and your wife are perfect for one another.... as far as a basis for it... how about this 19 page thread and the lady that "threw" a camera at your wife. As far as you not being aware that you rub people the wrong way, that is not a surprise... you wear blinders... as evidenced in this thread.
Yes, probably. But not all are. RM95, major, samfisher and some other the others are older. That's the problem with this medium-- the ease of anonymity. Thanks for your support on the issue. I'm bewildered that anyone would see it any other way. Were it their property or their family, they probably would not.... or if they just grew up a bit. I told my 25-YO daughter about the sequence of events last week and she was aghast that someone would be so callous about someone else's property much less their peace of mind. She works as a counselor at a boarding HS, so she says that that kind of finders-keepers mentality is run amok among the young. I'm glad that I raised her better...
It's interesting that so many people hate on giddyup whereas the guy who says he would have kept (= stolen) the camera had he found it almost goes unnoticed, and people don't care.
That's true. There are also no thieves in this story. Just an over-the-top, high-horse, melodramatic, gossip driven housewife story. LOL @ you trying to make it young vs old in a previous post. It's not that at all. It's just some people have real problems and a thread this petty drives them nuts.
Giddyup = Internet Warrior. He's slashing you fools up left and right, one post at a time. Keep up the good fight!! / I actually don't agree or disagree with anything being said in this thread, but I think both sides have valid points. I just find it amazing that he has basically replied to every single post in this thread individually, rehashing his argument over and over again. It's quite impressive to me that he can't just leave well enough alone and move on.
Hence, his username. He's like a horse that won't stop giddying up. This thread won't die until everyone is 100% on board with giddyup and what went down with no opposing viewpoints. Just give in, folks. For the love of ClutchFans and all that is holy, confess that you would not have handled the situation any differently, you would be here posting all about it in the word of justice, you would be here trying to set every poster right that they are wrong for one or more reasons if they have any opposing viewpoint until they give in (cause some of you clearly don't get it), and we all agree with giddyup's posts, his actions, his wife's actions, the bad/good sumaritan lady is the devil, etc. . giddyup wins. /End thread (like that will have any effect...please...continue)
Has it really come to this that Clutchfans Hangout is so desperate for an epic thread that this thread and the FFB stabbing thread are 20 pages?
Please, I've barely participated in this attentionwhor-gy. Obviously, this 20 page "laughing at, not with" monster thread says a lot more about you than anybody's age or anonymity, considering that you're responding to every last comment. NOT THAT IT REALLY MATTERS
i really don't care anymore but i do find it all quite amusing, especially since there is nothing else he is adding new. His basic point is: I lost a camera and didnt have it returned to me very promptly. So the knowledge he gained from this ordeal is: People dont go out of their way enough to help others. Bravo. now if you will excuse me, i plan on starting my own 20 page whine fest about how someone cut me off in traffic and how people arent considerate drivers.
Did they provide any type of "my bad" wave after doing so? If not, then convince the rest of why they should have, in 20p or less. Inconsiderate Drivers!
so how much worse does a person simply not retuning and keeping the camera compared to someone returning the camera after a month and tossing it at the owner who left it in the first place?
