I hate him as much as the next guy, but he can carry a team by himself then tear out your heart when it matters... It'd better then being the 14th pick for sure though.

Miami would become a much more dominant team if they were to trade Lebron for Howard.

    team > state > division > conference

the only time i would ever root for an eastern team is if the jazz made it to the finals.

Of course I'd take him. But just a thought: What if he made another Decision and took his talent to somewhere else when his contract was up with us?

I'd rather not have him. I already don't like him and we would become the Houston Lebrons as soon as we got him.

No, because he will then instantly demand a trade to Dwight Howard or CP3 or DRose or (insert all star)'s team, and we will be forced to give him up for 2 2022 second round picks.

And to the OP, If Lebron left Cleveland to join 2 other all stars to win a championship, why would you think he would stay one second in Houston.

a lot of ppl complaining about ppl rooting for dallas.

they're like the family that we don't necessarily get along with but if someone outside the family is fighting with them then we support them. that's how i see it at least.

supporting the heat is like helping a bully kick your annoying younger brother's a$$. that aint right. go watch the Godfather series again and learn some life lessons.

and i would accept lebron on the rox with open arms. hakeem teaching him post moves and the right attitude would make him into a winner quick.

Of course I would. For any of his faults, it's silly to describe him as anything less than a top 3 or top 5 guy in the game, and he's underpaid at $15M per.

I'd gut the roster for him in a heartbeat.

I'll take Lebron on my team anytime. I would trade every single player on this roster to get Lebron.

We would be stupid not to trade for him.

Is he still a dumb douche? Yes.

Hell No. First of all, any team would have to give up way to much in a trade for LeBron so the Rockets roster would be decimated even if we got him. Look what the Knicks had to give up to get Melo. Plus unless he commits himself to adding post-up moves, a mid-range jumper, and an ability to play without the ball he will get exponentially worse when he starts losing a step as he ages.

But even if he does commit himself to those things I really don't see him ever being a closer because he just doesn't have a killer instinct and has a history of disappearing during adversity. He has shown that time and time again and seems incapable of showing any ability to be humble enough to want to become a better player. Which means you would still need to pair him up with another player that is a good closer in order to have a chance to win a championship. I think that's the main reason why he went to Miami in the first place. LeBron knew he needed to be on a team with a closer like DWade. Steve Kerr is right, LeBron is more like Pippen than Jordan. Pippen is a HOF player, but he could never be THE franchise player on a championship team because of the limitations of his offensive game.

The reality is that the Heat will probably breakthrough and win a championship someday. However, when that day comes I seriously doubt that LeBron will be the main reason why based on past history. Of course LeBron has the power to change that just like Dirk did this year. It's just a question whether LeBron's arrogance will allow him to.

Yes, I definitely would take LeBron, only if we were getting a superstar along with him in the package.

the people on this board that would not take him have let the hate blind them. wow i knew there were some people on here with low iq's but this baffles me. he took a team of scrubs to the nba finals several years, doesnt matter who we gave up, we would be instant contenders.
