Andre is going hard at the recruiting lol. He is going to be REALLY disappointed if the Texans sit on their hands and do nothing I am guessing....don't **** wit Dre Mcnair and R.Smith.
that would be ****ing amazing. then we will have WR: AJ OC KW JJ OD(not a WR but a pass catcher) DA and on defense: AC KJ Brandon Harris Jason Allen GQ (safety) Eric Weddle(hopefully will go after him at least for other safety spot) other Corner (Jonathan Joseph hopefully) defense looks vastly improved to me even without the other corner
:medal yall are out of your g*ddamn minds if you think good ol' boy bob and golly gee-shucks kubes are going to go after guys like ochocinco and cromartie.
If Gary and Rick can't do **** to improve this team, someone has to step up and bring some good players to this team - enter 'Dre.
It is truly amazing to me how much this forum, generally speaking, star gazes. There is not a player in any league with even a hint of name recognition that people don’t instantly fall all over themselves imploring the teams to sign if said player is made available. For the record, Johnson last year averaged 12.4 YPC and scored 4 TDs. Kevin Walter? 12.2 and 5 TDs. Walter is 3 years younger and doesn’t contain an ounce of diva (so far as we know) – so why is Chad Johnson considered a giant upgrade? Heck, Jacoby Jones, as a mostly 3rd string WR with five fewer starts, put up Johnson 2010-esque numbers (just 16 fewer catches, 269 fewer yards and 1 fewer TD). I’m all about the Texans upgrading where they can – but this team doesn’t need a me-first guy who doesn’t care about winning in their locker room. They have enough to overcome as it is. They’d be absolute fools to even sniff Chad Johnson. ‘Dre should un-friend him, or whatever you do to delete someone from your Twitter account.
I'm guessing you're not familiar with Ochocinco. He cares very much about winning and works really hard. Who you just described is Terrel Owens, not Ochocinco.
Bingo. Chad is a gritty gamer and talented as hell. He's got a goofy personality, but his showmanship and outspokenness never got in the way of his performance.
Let's be honest...none of us are familiar with any of these guys. One guys negative opinion is just as credible as anothers positive opinion in this situation.
It's the worst thing to happen to sports journalism since.....well, ever. I really loathe it and most of the time I can't even understand it. I can never even tell who wrote what. It just looks like a bunch of symbols. Eh, this is probably true to a certain extent. I've certainly been guilty of it in the past. But I would argue that it has more to do with the overall blandness of this franchise than it does ignorance of the fans. That being said, it's tough to blame us for getting excited about ANY DB who casually mentions Houston. I call it the "anything is better than what we currently have" syndrome, and it's pretty common among Texan fans.
