Would it be in her best interests to declare her desire to run the day before the primaries start so she doesnt have to do any interviews? I truly think she is the best and right person for the job.
/thread She doesn't have the brains or ability to mount a credible presidential campaign. People who haven't figured that out yet need their heads examined. Her biggest goal at this point would be angling to give a keynote speech at the GOP convention. By then, I would hope the party has figured out what a fraudulent joke she is. OP, if you honestly believe what you posted, I'm feel sorry for you. (Forgive me if you are being sarcastic).
What job? If I'm a Republican right now, I'm hoping I don't get the nomination because I'm just going to lose. I'm in the race just to get (or keep) my name out there so that I might be considered more of a front runner for 2012 when my chances should be better against a brand new Democratic candidate. If I'm Palin, I'm definitely not running. I'm just trying to keep my name in the news.
What does Bush have that Palin lack in the brains department? I don't believe Palin has a shot, but if you just want to look at ability or brains, she shouldn't even be relevant right now. She doesn't have Bush's lineage and widespread charisma though, so I do agree that she'll never win a general election against someone like Obama.

Impressive indeed. In fact, one can say just as if not more impressive than Columbia University Harvard Law School or Georgetown University Yale Law School I take back my last statement. George Bush is definitely among the smartest presidents of the past century.
Palin just got overshadowed by Bachmann. Bachmann who misspeaks frequently when on her own, showed what happens when you actually study the issues, and listen to the professionals who work with you to get you ready for debates. Palin has had all the time in the world, and all the handlers in the world working with her, but she's either incapable, uninterested or both in learning about issues, policies, history, and the world in general. She shows how little she understands of even the most rudimentary concepts related to government. The only way she wins is if the Department of Law steps in and makes some changes to the way leaders are chosen in this country.
I think Gingrich was doing just that, not serious in running but wanting to keep his name out there hoping he can make money on the speaking circuit like Palin.
I'm sure Bush is a smart man, despite his portrayal i nthe media. Academic intelligence doesn't always lead to leadership Or a knowledgable and multilateral foreign policy
