Or, he is adding insult to injury because he has a ring to show for. Lebron must dream about Stevenson's ring all day long.

And no, Lebron was not on stevenson that much during the series. So how you got the idea that Lebron is in his head (when Stevenson's best series was against the Heat) and not vice versa (Lebron's worst series is against Dallas) I have no clue.

do you even know the history between stevenson and lebron back during their wiz-cavs days?

if you don't know what i'm talking about, don't bother responding.

Stevenson called Lebron out in the Cleveland/Washington series.

Stevenson called Lebron out this series

Now he makes a shirt with Lebron name on it.

Pretty obvious to tell he has some type of obsession with Lebron James.

I do, but I don't see how that's relevant to the topic at hand.

You're great at changing topics when you realize you spoke out your ass.

You said Lebron is in this guy's head, that isn't true since Stevenson played his best against the Heat. If anything, Stevenson was in Lebron's head from the way Lebron played.

how isn't it relevant at hand? this guy is wearing a shirt directed at lebron james to diss him (and it was very funny too), the same guy who he publicly beefed in the playoffs 4-5 years ago.

lebron's in his head doesn't necessarily means lebron is messing with his mind; it's simply deshawn is obviously thinking about lebron a lot. that's all.

but sometimes, it's best to keep things "simple." don't go overboard and over-analyze everything a person posts.

and obviously playing lebron in this series motivated him more than ever b/c he struggled mightily prior to the finals. props to stevenson for that. he had a phenomenal series shooting the ball.

The Heat lost the Championship... The Mavs have every right to piss all over Miami Heat, trust me, that's what Testosterone driven males do... It's been like that since the beginning of time...

Will the Fight Ever End? Lebron James vs. Deshawn Stevenson

    By brandon Lam
    (Correspondent) on January 5, 2009

When DeShawn Stevenson and LeBron James got into a beef last year it was funny, entertaining, good for the NBA.

If you guys forgot what happened, Stevenson got mad at James because James said something to DeShawn's friend Drew Gooden.

Stevenson said that LeBron said something about my game, he said I'm getting a lot of hype this year and he does not think that I am a good player.

Stevenson then called LeBron overrated and LeBron replied with DeShawn saying something to me is like Soulja boy saying something about Jay Z.

The two almost came to blows in the playoffs by Stevenson giving James a hard foul around the head area. James told the media that, "IF we were on a playground something definitely would have happened."

DeShawn got Soulja boy to appear at the Wizards home game to show him respectably wearing a Stevenson's jersey. James countered to that and got the best rapper in the game right now to make a diss song about Stevenson.

Stevenson had no problem with it and saying hey its HOV. Yesterday when the Cavaliers played the Wizards, Stevenson was on the bench due to injury, but LeBron was playing.

And Stevenson was talking trash to LeBron and the two exchanged words and after the game when James was asked what were you guys saying to each other and James replied with,"

Ask him, I am not going to do that this year." When Stevenson was asked of it Stevenson said, "I don't care it's whatever. I don't like him. I don't like that dude."

The in his head comment seems accurate for this situation.

I didn't take it as Tmac1 saying he was in his head to the point where he made Stevenson play bad, but obviously LeBron is on his mind in some way to comintue carrying on this way when Lebron hasn't even provoked him.

Unless there is something going on on the court that I don't know about. The shirt was funny though end of story.

When you said "lebron is in his head", the general idea behind that is lebron is mentally affecting stevenson and his game. You know that yourself, otherwise why would you have said the bolded part below?

I'm not going overboard and overanalyzing. You said Lebron was in Stevenson's head, I'm pretty sure most people would assume you meant mentally affecting Stevenson. But if you didn't, then you are free to rephrase.

Stevenson is like an obsessive psycho killer, and Lebron is a fragile high school girl who knows Stevenson is after him and is constantly hiding in the house. I think that's the best way to put it.

exactly. a few people on here over-analyze everything on here. deshawn basically tried to call out lebron ALL series on and off the court, and even had reporters asking him questions about it. but lebron never responded. and deshawn kept talking about lebron even after the series. deshawn obviously has something with/about lebron.

but that something motivated him to play better, and that was a great sight to see. and the shirt is damn funny.

i would wish more players talk trash like deshawn did in this series. it not only makes for better drama, but makes the game fun.

this series was fun to watch in general b/c you know these 2 teams hated each other.

i said lebron IS (present-tense) in deshawn's head. the series is over. they are not playing anymore games. so stop over-analyzing. dang too much estrogen in here.

Like I said, the general idea when you say "Lebron is in his head" is usually implying Lebron is playing mind games and succeeding with it. I don't think that's over-analyzing at all.

But I agree, there is too much estrogen here coming from Lebron fans.

Agreed I like seeing stuff like this. I just wish we had more matchups of star players that don't like each other.

Is it really that hard to understand what he is saying? Why would you think he means LeBron is playing mind games with Stevenson when Lebron has not said anything about Stevenson since calling him Soulja Boy which was in response to Deshawn calling him overrated.

If anyone is trying to play mind games it's Stevenson not Lebron.

the playoffs will be great for the next few years.

OKC will be fun to watch b/c westbrook now has the media target on his back, and we saw how physical that OKC vs memphis series was. that'll be a great rivalry and a matchup we should all watch out for for the next 2 years.

That was a great physical series but it was missing the hate for each other. I wish we had more series like those Miami/NY matchups back in the day. Those teams truly hated each other.

    Exactly.

    Stevenson is in Lebron's head.

Is it really that hard to understand that? What part of "Lebron is in his head" seems to imply mind games do you not get?

I'll never forget the image of Jeff Van Gundy hanging on for dear life from the leg of Larry Johnson...or was it Zo? Either way, hilarious!
