the end scene kind of reminded me of Braveheart. You know the scene where the woman is about to be executed and she's looking around to see if Mel Gibson will save her at the last second... That scene was so emotional... so was this one...

i literally had my mouth hanging open at the end of this episode

I really liked the way they did the Ned execution. Pretty much exactly how I imagined it.

Maybe it's just me accepting her character, but Catelyn is annoying me a great deal less as time goes on. Oh, and I absolutely love the people they cast as both Mormont's and Maester Aemon. Each of them have owned in their brief time on screen.

    Patience. Have patience.

I'd like to echo the great job that the actor playing Joffrey has done. That little snit is the epitomy of hateable, which is exactly what he should be. Almost all the child actors on this series have been outstanding, which is not an easy thing to accomplish.

Quick question, what did Ned say to Yoren as he was being led through the crowd? I think it was just one word, but somehow it signaled to him that Arya was out there, but I couldn't make out what he said.

Baelor, I think its the name of the statue she climbed on, its also the name of the episode.

I'm feeling the same way about Cat. I have really hated her (mainly because of the way she treated Jon) but I think now she is exactly what is needed, not as honerable as Ned and a total B*tch to anyone getting in the way of the Starks goal.

I am hoping they cart Jamie up to King's Landing strapped to a giant X and cut off his head so Cercie and Joffry can watch. I would have like to have seen the battle where Jamie was captured but I'm guessing that would have totally ruined the surprise of Robert catching him.

Jon Snow and Arya have been my favorite of the Stark kids but Robert is starting to impress me more and more.

    that was insane.

I love they way they introduce twists and turns each episode that makes the audience question the validity of everything.

I'm a non-reader talking about all the hereditary connections- King Robert's bastards, the remaining Targaryans, and with that, the emergence of Aemon etc...

    joffrey's a dick!

Oddly, that's the way it was written in the book as well. There are several significant battles/fights that happen "off camera" in the books. It makes sense to do this in a TV show (budget) but I never fully understood why George RR Martin wrote them like that.

the targarian at the wall was a weird surprise, rob has been growing on me nice to see his development, ned dieing was the spoiler i accidently clicked on if you have been folowing the thread that closely, it was still captiviating to see unfold

one episode left and i know all my questions will not have been answered

still waiting to see what happenned to stannis, he was sent a letter what happened?

will john snow join his brother or stay on the wall?

    what about benjin(sp?)?

are the horse lords going to cross the water and try and conquer kings landing?

i am going to guess that jaime lannister is going to be killed as soon as rob here's about his father, he better not somehow escape,

question for those who have read the books, what is the hound's postion/title and why is he loyal to the lannisters?

Sandor Clegane "The Hound" is the personal bodyguard for Joffrey Lannister/Baratheon. House Clegane are sworn to House Lannister thus the reason for his loyalty (Although I am not sure how much weight that holds with The Hound).

technically he was loyal to the Baratheons as Joffrey's sworn bodyguard.

but we all know Joffrey's an inbred b*stard.

once Joffrey is sworn King (technically still a Baratheon), The hound becomes member of the King's guard.

Apparently she started out as a p*rn star. That would explain the acting.

The Starks vs. Lannisters storyline is great.. in fact, I really wish they would just focus on that. The other storylines are just meh... especially, the arcing story of Jon Snow and the Wall. I really don't know where this story is going, but it is kind of boring.. and seems unrelated to the major events happening down south. I really hope Jon will abandon the Wall and join his family in the war.

They added the Twins to last nights episode.

The music isn't appealing to me. Feels kind of trite. The Twin Peaks theme song would set a more appropriate mood.
