Or maybe he has the name of two respected rappers who represent our great city of Houston?

Bosh is the frontcourt Kevin Martin at best. No thanks.

He looked good in the Finals, actually more productive than LeBron, BUT, I didn't want him before, and I don't want him now. He is reptilian looking besides being soft as charmin.

I'm ok with Bosh, but I don't want to give up Patterson. Thats my one thing.

    Looked solid ;)

Guy couldn't catch a pass the second half of the series. Nerves were shaky.

Bosh with his gayness is a better defender than Scola -with his heart and that- and also a better offensive player. And 4 years younger.

I only find one PF in the entire league who can be considered as clearly better than Bosh, Dirk. I find at least 4 SGs who are better players than Martin.

I do not like Bosh's face either, but you gotta recognize that he is a legit all-star. He's severely underrated here by some people.

If he's actually available, don't doubt for a momento that Daryl will try it.

    Huh?
With Bosh, I'd take Amare and Gasol over Bosh easily. And with Martin, there's Kobe, Wade, Manu...... and who am I missing? Not Ellis. Not Gordon yet.

He is a great 2nd - 3rd option......but we need a first option. He tried being the first option in Toronto and it didn't work out.

We need 1st options not 3rd options

    This trade would rock!

It would prove to me once and for all that Rockets management folks are idiots.

It would be funny to watch Bosh get dumped by the Heat after just one year.

If I knew they were both men, obviously, I would probably have a clue who they are. I like both their music and don't see anything personally wrong with using that as a handle if you so choose. But the point remains - ok let me state it another way because apparently it escaped you the first time....

If you call someone gay and then state they shouldn't be able to play for your team because of this...you might want to look at how openly and willingly you idolize two men you don't even know.

If we trade for him, can we hold a smoke-machine laser-light press conference for him and... Kevin Martin?

i dont like bosh, i dont want bosh

but in his defense...people say bosh cant be a first option cuz his raptors teams sucked....well maybe because those teams never had a 2nd or 3rd option...bosh was their 1st and only option.

I'd rather have Bosh to trade him for Blake Griffin in 2 years.

I forgot my Pau-man. Ok, two PFs, if you want. Amare, I personally prefer Bosh, better defender and a little better rebounder. You can argue that Amare is better, but he's not clearly a better player than Chris Bosh.

SGs, I was thinking in Joe Johnson also. Plus Manu, Kobe and Wade. Ray Allen, Gordon, could be there with Martin. Currently I prefer Allen. The point is that in the end, Bosh is a legit perennial all-star and Martin's not.

Bosh is not worth a max contract. Sure he's better than Scola, but he's NOT better than Scola + Patterson. He's not a two-way player, and only superior offensive players like Nowitzki actually live up to their max deal without being a great defender as well. I also heard first hand from Del Harris at the MIT sports conference that Dirk is the best zone defender he's coached. Bosh is soft and not worth it.

Further, with the new CBA most likely restricting the ability to go over the cap while also restructuring how contracts are written, a pre-CBA max contract is going to be a huge investment of resources (think Juwan Howard's crazy contract right before the lockout).

Just so I'm clear: we desperately want an all-star first option, but we're not willing to part with a 2nd year PF that played 17mpg last year? Because one day, hopefully, in the next three years, he might develop into a pretty good role player/fringe all-star?

The Rockets are willing to trade all of that for some one who is a level below star in this league, and shown the ability to carry a team?

I don't mind giving up key pieces because our team needs a star to win. But Bosh isn't a star. He's still one level below that.
