Has anyone else seen this? It's pretty good, made by the same folks who did the new Dr. Who series. First episode is airing on PBS tonight at 8pm cst. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cSQq_bC5kIw?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cSQq_bC5kIw?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Yes, I've seen all 3 episodes already via torrent. Without commercials it's an hour and a half show (one or two of the eps seemed kinda long). Overall I liked them, the Dr. Watson character is played by the guy from the UK Office. They elevate Watson's character to be on-par with Sherlock's in terms of character development. I still like Jeremy Brett as Sherlock (Adventures of Sherlock Holmes) the best, but the guy in this show does a good job. Not sure if they are doing any more episodes, but my wife and I would continue to watch them if there are.
I have them all on my HDD right now.....if anyone needs them....great show.....they are making more of them....I think we made a thread about it. Yep, here is the original thread Great great show ! DD
Bluray/dvd coming out next week of the first 3 episodes. I absolutely need those subtitles, especially when Sherlock starts talking super fast.
I've seen the series. Really clever and hip. Can't wait for 2012 or when ever they release the 2nd part of the series. If you've seen Snatch enough times like me (top 10 all time) you don't need the subtitles.
I had to bump this. Just saw the first 'episode' over the weekend and it was awesome. It killed the Guy Richie movie. I'm trying not to watch the next two too soon. They need to hurry up and make the second series of these bad boys. While I can do enough without them, I wish Netflix had the subtitles. Somewhat unrelated, I've been watching some MI-5 which isn't too bad.
Does it have an ongoing plot or is it just standalone shows? Does Holmes have substance abuse issues?
Anyone watch the second season of this? Absolutely brilliant. Its easily become one of my favorite TV series. Its going to be a very very painful wait for the next season
